Comfortable vacation home with lots of privacy near a huge lake

Are you looking for peace and relaxation by the water, surrounded by nature, and far away from mass tourism? Then our comfortable vacation home in Lubieszewo is the perfect place for you!

Our vacation home is located in the heart of the Pomeranian Switzerland Nature Park and on the edge of the Drawsko Pomorskie National Park, just a few metres from Jezioro Lubie (German: Großer Lübbsee).

This 14-kilometer-wide lake is part of the Pomeranian Lake District and is known for its excellent water quality and unspoiled natural surroundings. Here, you can swim, fish, and enjoy water sports.

The Drawsko Pomorskie National Park offers not only numerous beautiful swimming lakes in natural surroundings but also many recreational activities for young and old. The many small towns along the numerous lakes (e.g., Czaplinek or Drawsko) in the area are geared toward tourists and have a lot to offer.

"Lubieszewo" is a small, sleepy village. However, it does have a mini-supermarket, a seafood restaurant with its own fish farm, and a Tyrolean restaurant.
In the next-largest town, "Złocieniec," about 11 km away, you’ll find every conceivable shopping option as well as a variety of bars and restaurants.

There are also numerous recreational activities, such as self-guided or guided kayaking tours through the Pomeranian Lake District, as Lubieszewo is located directly on one of Poland’s most popular long-distance kayaking routes. From here, you can kayak all the way to the Baltic Sea.

The house is situated in the middle of a 5,000-square-meter lot that is completely fenced and overgrown with vegetation. The entire property is exclusively at your disposal, ensuring plenty of privacy. Only about 100 metres separate our house from the water. You can reach the lake via the neighbouring, similarly fenced-in private property.

In February/March 2023, all living areas were freshly renovated, the bathroom was refurbished, and mostly new furniture was purchased. In addition, a new heating system was installed. The furnishings are upscale.

The house features a large open kitchen, a spacious, tiled living and dining room with access to the covered patio and the garden, underfloor heating for the fall and winter months, a wood-burning stove, and a small fitness room.

Two of the three bedrooms each have a double bed (width: 1.40 m) and a closet. The third bedroom is equipped with a bunk bed (2 x 90 cm). The comfortable sleeper sofa in the living room provides two additional sleeping spots.

During your stay, you also have the option to rent our SUP board, our 4 bicycles, and/or our large rowboat (not included in the price). Please let us know in advance if you’re interested in any of these.

As your hosts, we’re of course always available to offer advice and assistance. For example, we’d be happy to help you book self-guided or guided kayaking tours in the region, obtain fishing licences for the many lakes in the area, or book other vacation rentals nearby if you’re travelling with several families or as a large group and our vacation home is too small.
