5-Star Review: A Perfect Setup for Boaters!Our stay at this property exceeded all expectations—the photos truly don't do it justice. The home is incredibly modern, clean, and well-maintained, making it a very comfortable home base for our trip.One of the biggest highlights for us was the garage. It was a massive bonus to have a secure place to store our boat and gear overnight. We also got plenty of use out of the Traeger grill; it worked perfectly and we cooked some fantastic meals on it throughout the week.The location is ideal for anyone looking to get on the water, as the local boat ramp is extremely close and very easy to navigate.Most importantly, the host's communication was top-notch. They were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond when we ran into a mechanical issue with our boat, providing great local info to help us get it repaired and back on the water quickly.We’ve already decided this will be a return booking for us. Highly recommended!

Everything was exactly as described. Great location and amenities accommodated our fishing tournament needs perfectly. Host was quick to reapind when needed, though not much was needed at all. Would definitely stay again, thank you.

Great Spot on Toledo Bend!We had a great time at this property. It was very clean, well maintained, and in a great location for enjoying the lake. Peaceful surroundings, great views, and easy access to everything we wanted to do while in the area visiting family. The owners were genuinely friendly and made us feel right at home! Everything was very easy and relaxing!Definitely recommend it to anyone heading out to Toledo Bend!

Fathers Day Get Away

We arrived a few hours earlier at the suggestion of the host, which was a blessing, the house was clean and had a fresh smell as I entered, the house had everything needed from paper towels to a filled grill, my family had plenty room to relax, my daughter in law even found a dart board with darts in the garage they enjoyed, I recommend this stay to anyone looking for a place for family gatherings or just a getaway. I definitely will be staying again. The host were polite and I contacted them a couple of times and was greeted with sincere kindness and respect. Thank you Rob & Tammy.

Awesome experience

Not one complaint. House is exactly as shown online, very clean and very well stocked. I packed up my entire house because we were going to be there for five days and I didn’t know if they would have everything we needed. They have everything you need plus more! Great quiet neighborhood. We truly enjoyed our stay & will hopefully be booking this house a lot more in the future. Owner was very easy to get in touch with and responded to all my questions quickly! Thanks Rob!

Family wedding vacation

The house was very nice, clean, organized and really comfortable to stay at made it even better since it at had wifi and T.V’s in each room. It also had large windows we could look out to the lake and easy access to walk down to the lake at well!

Great Weekend Trip

Great central location for fishing. Would stay here again.

Quiet area. Central location means less travel time when scouting different areas throughout the week which means more time on the water. Garage was big enough to fit my 24 foot total length boat/trailer along with an SUV. Fast WI-FI for multiple devices. Large Smart TVs in living room and main bedroom had satellite connection, were easy to use and had lots of good channels available. Clean bathrooms and bedrooms. 1000 watt microwave heated quickly and evenly. Nice electric stove/oven and nice electric BBQ pit which was already filled with fluid and they even provided a bag of charcoal for us. The issues we had were minor and would not prevent us from staying here again. 1) There were crumbs on the counters in the kitchen when we arrived.. Kitchen countertops are rough painted wood which made it hard to wipe clean because it snags the rag. 2) Bathroom in main bedroom is very small and the sink that sits upon the pedestal is not connected so if you happen to rest your elbow on it while brushing your teeth, it will tip. I would definitely not let an elderly person use that bathroom for fear of them bracing themselves to walk when getting out of the shower and the sink falling along with them. 3) Roof of the screened in back porch leaks in multiple areas when it rains. 4) The dryer is in the garage which is only accessible through the back porch or by lifting the main garage door but it works well. 5) There are brooms, a mop and a vacuum but cleaning supplies are limited so you might want to bring your own disinfectant wipes if you want to keep things clean throughout your stay. They did have a container of pull out alcohol wipes but they are fairly small and dry out way too fast to really clean good with them. There was a nice washing machine and some laundry detergents and softener sheets, although, I always bring my own. There was Ajax dish soap for manual cleaning and dishwasher detergent if you prefer to use the dishwasher. The last thing I want to mention is that there is no garbage pickup; so, if you’re staying 7 or 8 days and you don’t want smelly garbage in the garbage can in the garage, you may want to bring the garbage to the Toledo Town Compactor Site. Anyway, I only mention these things to help others be better prepared for their stay, not to deter anyone from staying. We would definitely stay here again.
