Everything was perfect! They had everything ready for us and a full kitchen to cook in when we wanted. Everything was clean and it was such a beautiful setup. We had a wonderful time and would stay again if in the area.
This was a great place to stay. Perfect for our large family. Check-in was very simple and owner was easily accessible. We came down to visit with my son at fort Lenardwood. It was the perfect distance. Highly recommend this property.
We went out to watch my son graduate from Basic Training at Ft. Leonard Wood and chose this home for my son to relax in family day. It was the best decision we could have made. The house was perfect! Would definitely look into staying there again!! Thank you!
Our son graduated from basic training at Fort Leonard Wood so my family drove in to be there for family day and graduation day. Both days our son got off base passes to spend time with family, he invited 3 other soldiers to join him to come back to the cabin and enjoy some relaxation after a long 10 weeks. All of the soldiers took over the bunk room and rested, used phone time and played games for the whole time on both family day and graduation day. The cabin was able to accommodate all of us.
A thousand stars!! We were in the Fort Leonard Wood area for my sonâs graduation from MP school and were searching for a place where we could get together with family and friends. This is the place! Modern amenities (kitchen is fully equipped for any meal), up to date appliances and bathrooms were clean and up to date. Host was amazing with communication and made sure we were happy. This is the place you want to stay if you want space for your family in a quiet country setting with all the amenities. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we are ever back in the area.
We chose this cute property to have our annual vacation with friends. No problems, comfortable amenities, and lots of room. Our dogs loved running around the property and the evening campfires were a perfect ending to each day. Highly recommended!
We stayed here for a basic training graduation of a family member. The second we arrived and walked through the door we felt at home. This home is beautiful and the host was amazing. We had a great time visiting and it made our stay in Missouri very nice. Our large family was able to spend quality time with our new soldier and enjoy the amenities here.
We booked this cabin to get away for a few days for Thanksgiving and it was perfect! The house and property were beautiful and comfortable. We had a great time and highly recommend staying here!
Very clean, well stocked with basic needs and quiet area. Would visit again if ever in the area.
There was a very annoying pit bull dog in the neighborhood that barked and chased the car many times when entering and leaving the area.
This was the perfect place for our family while we attended my sonâs basic training graduation. We have 6 children and my parents stayed with us as well as one of my sonâs friends. The host thought of everything. Spices in the cabinets, a working grill, wood for the fire pit, shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the bathrooms, the beds were comfy, towels smelled amazing, plenty of space and bedding for everyone. Itâs gorgeous, clean, and easy peasy to drive to and from the base. The host was so kind and helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend!
My family stayed here for a graduation from basic training at Fort Leonard Wood. It was about 15 min away. It was very nice and clean. It was also out on the country and peaceful.
18 mins. from Fort Leonard Wood. Being away on private property gave our solider the ability to put PJâs on and relax. The house was perfect. The beds were very comfortable. The absolute cleanest house we have ever stayed in. Lots of small amenities that made this house a home. Communication with the owner was great. Fire pit was nice. We had fun feeding the fish. I would highly recommend this home.
My sisters, mother, my children and I stayed here for a boot camp graduation. Plenty of room and great communication with property manager. Highly recommended
This was a great stay for a weekend getaway with friends! Plenty of room and we loved using the fire pit outside at night, I'd highly recommend staying.
The cabin is great. The host was awesome. If I ever got the chance to come to this area again, I would definitely love to stay. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. Thanks
Attractive well appointed A Frame in a pretty setting. A number of nice touches - Keurig, staples, etc. Communication with host overly detailed with slower than expected response times. Master bed comfortable with nice deck, but could a couple of chairs and a door on the bathroom vs a cloth curtain. Washing machine quit working. Host advised it required holding start button down hard for extended time, but no sign on washer warning of special steps to make it work. Host insisted no shoes or food in carpeted bedrooms, but that restriction was not in listing, and stairs to master are carpeted, so seems odd. Had to ask repeatedly for check in lockbox code (via text, voicemail & VRBO messaging). Only after quoting VRBO policy did I get a response to my simple request for the 4 or 5 digit lockbox code. The response was 155+ lines with the requested code at the130th line. Its no surprise reading that tiny text on my cellphone that I tried opening the wrong lockbox and had to call. Neither box was labeled. Be aware that host has Blink internet cameras on the house (not on listing) that she can monitor although she said, "I try to respect everyone's privacy....". The area is remote with some nice surrounding properties and some very sketchy ones. Neighbor was apparently practicing shooting with probably 50-100 rapid fire rounds (but it is rural Missouri, so not a big deal to me). Bottom line is a nice property and despite unnecessary complications we enjoyed our stay
My family and I were in the area for my sonâs graduation from Fort Leonard Wood. We enjoyed the house very much. It was clean, well stocked and the host was great to work with.
We rented this house for our visit to Ft. Leonard Wood for our son's graduation. The location was perfect...just a 15 minute drive to the base, well within the allowed limits for Family Day. The house was extremely clean and the mattresses were very comfortable! Vanessa, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. She provided recommendations of places to eat at. The house was well equipped for cooking. We used the grill both days we were there. I don't anticipate ever needing to go back to Ft. Leonard Wood, but should the need arise, I would most definitely stay at the Cozy Cabin again, because it was indeed cozy!
