Staff speak very little English but they are very accommodating to accede to our request. Staff turned up immediately when asked for help to open the window.

Comfortable Stay

Hotel location is not too far from the JR station, close to 10 min walk, with luggage. You would need to walk up a gentle slope and cross the bridge. You can catch a sunset on the bridge too. Room is small (single bed) but comfortable and clean. There is a shopping mall with good grocery selection not too far away.

A stinky ash tray

Stepped out of the elevator to the stench of stale old tabaco. The room was even worse and it was supposed to be smoke free. If you want to sleep in a cigarette ash tray this is the place for you. There was only one outlet in the room and that one was in the bathroom. The room was sweltering. No AC control other than buttons selecting HIgh or Low fan speed. Two redeeming factors - 1.) staff was courteous and attentive though lacked any power to anything but smile; and, 2. The on site bathhouse was a great amenity.

Nice hotel close to Abashiri station

It's five minutes from abashiri jr station. The free self parking is useful because at lot of the sights are a bit hard to get to without a car. The rooms are basic but clean. The wifi was quite good. The only thing that could be a bother is the pillow, it's really hard. It's like sleeping on a slightly softer version of a wood block. Other than that I would recommend for short trips.
