I have used them a couple of times and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. It is good value for money. teas, coffee & biscuits, soup and fresh towels and water provided in the room.
Tv in room did not work, shower was barely a dribble, no hairdryer in room, did ask about one but they said no, beds were terrible, broken springs, very thin, see through curtains which are no use in summer, too light to sleep. Nobody there when we checked out so had to leave key on a table. However, the room itself was clean, the fan was very welcome as room was so hot, the water was a nice touch, but would not recommend staying there
The staff were great (friendly, helpful, accommodating), but the room was not. The Inn is 8 rooms over a bar, which means that you will hear bar music and patrons until the bar closes at midnight. The windows are not sealed well, so street noise seeps into the room easily. That means resting hours are 12am-6am or 7am. The radiators and mattresses are very old, which means that the mattresses lack any comfort or support and the radiators regularly make loud noise. The box spring was completely broken on my bed. Despite the great staff and cleanly room, I would not stay again.
This property was cheap, so please keep that in mind, free parking on site.
Staff friendly and bar was nice with reasonable prices and a pool table. Room on the smaller side but enough space for a short stay.
We had allot of traveling so I booked this place due to the onsite restaurant, at the point we went this didn't exist. There is a Chinese across the road and a restaurant down the road opposite the petrol station, over the bridge so it wasn't the end of the world, but frustrating.
Easy access to the rooms but by stairs, I don't believe there is any on the ground floor. Rooms with people staying quiet, bar noise did get to the room but I expected that, on a Friday night. If you want quiet pay more and don't stay above a pub. I can sleep through anything so no issue for me but if you can't then this isn't the location for you.
We didn't have issues, checkout is just drop a key in a box. In all honesty this would be the perfect place if working in the area and you wanted a cheap room, especially twin, as basic but clean. But the title should be changed if the restaurant is not going to reopen.
Staff were good room was tidy that was good points the restraunt doesn't exist as far as could see the good bar staff seem to do all the work apart ftom the cleaning and there was a very annoying spot light outside the room window on all the time making hard to sleep
I booked the room at the last minute, it was ok but the sign spotlight shone into the room and wasnât switched off the second night so too bright to sleep, also asked 4 people about fixing the tiny tv but they either forgot to ask someone or failed when they tried and was told sorry canât figure it out. Online a restaurant is advertised but was closed down last year. The young lady behind the was wonderful as was the regular that ordered me a taxi when I was panicking and also bought me a G&T
Fabulous value for money. Room was super clean. Bed was absolutely brilliant . Although next to main road never heard any traffic.
For price was suprised to have all the little extras you would expect in an expensive hotel. Will definitely book here agaun in the future
