There's a snack bar/deli on site. WiFi is free in public spaces. Motel 6 Abilene, TX also features laundry facilities, express check-in, and express check-out. Free self parking is available.
Night Attendant couldn't find my reservation thru Travelocity, then claimed we double-booked. I showed the 1 night reservation on Travelocity. He said he didn't care what was on Travelocity. We most likely will look for a different hotel for our multiple stays during November & December.
It earned its 2 stars. Room needs a deep cleaning - walls, doors, lights switches, mildewy tub. My fridge was full of someone else's old food. Ick. This place is a lot like the old Motel 6 and nothing like the ones that have been all renovated. Decrepit dumpy place that's overpriced only because there must be a hotel shortage in town.
We were only staying one night for a football camp so we didnât want to pay much for a hotel. Arriving late checking out early kinda thing. But as they say you get what you pay for.
Manager or owner of hotel was rude at check in and lobby smelled like curry. When you open the room it smelled like weed. They were bugs crawling in the bathroom. I understand that you canât control who checks in but the party next door was loud and nothing was done by the owner/manager when reported.
Very clean. Basics were there. Not much space for walking my dog on site so found parks elsewhere. Road noise fron highway was bad. Route to hotel poorly marked.
There was hair and nasty whatever in the sink. Then in the tub there was hair and a bad dirt line around it. There was stuff on the walls running down. I would not recommend this hotel
flat pillows, noise of a radio or TV that would not shut off from another room, felt unclean and was afraid to sleep under the covers, smelled of cigarette smoke
There were 3 flies in the room. The bed was not comfortable - I woke up with lower back pain (which is not an issue Iâve had in other hotels or at home). While the bathroom generally looked clean, there were dirt stains around the taps. I would not recommend staying here.
