Breakfast hot spread was poor and the Egg station hygiene standard was poor. Staff were very friendly. Except at breakfast, staff was rather unhelpful. I asked for a coffee which didnt come and i walked to the coffee station and was told i should order from the table. I did but it didnt arrive! Cook making the eggs need to be tidier if you want to call it a 5 star hotel.

The room was spotless, the staff were very accommodating, from the staff at the entrance including Saeed and another very helpful gentlemen whose name we didn’t get, to the cleaning staff including liakat they were all so attentive and always on hand. They made our stay seamless and that extra bit comfortable. We had a balcony sea view room which was lovely and spacious, an extra bed was also added without any issue for our child. Thank you Khālidīyah palace we had a fantastic stay.

Food choices and the option to order food poolside was amazing! Huge variety for breakfast with lots of live stations. Disappointed with room. It was a little outdated and we had 6th floor above the restaurant so we could hear lots of noise and smell food in our room most of the time which wasn’t pleasant. A couple of days there was construction work happening across the island and it was very noisy we found it hard to relax by the pool/beach. Pictures need updating on websites as the beach is not the same anymore! It is very crowded and again no view because islands have been build around the hotel.

All the staff go out of there way to make a truly memorable holiday, there is so much choice for breakfast that always looks fresh and well maintained.
