This no frills home is perfect for those after a well-appointed base for their South Coast stay. Situated on the Esplanade, SALT has sweeping views of Aldinga Beach - and if you're visiting in January you can enjoy a front row seat to the Tour Down Under from the comfort of your balcony.

You'll enjoy spending time down at the beach; simply stroll across the Esplanade and down the stairs to a secluded part of the beach where you can explore the reef rock-pools when the tides out. Or you can load up the car for a day trip and head to the drive on access point (just a 2-minute drive away). When the sun begins to set and you head home for the evening, the best spot to be on a balmy night is on the balcony; feeling the fresh ocean breeze on your skin, taking in the beauty of the beach.

Location and front deck fantastic

Location fantastic, easy beach access, as per description this is a no frills holiday home, comfortable, a little dated but suited our needs.

Perfect beach locale

We had a wonderful stay at ‘Salt’ in Aldinga with our cousins. Children enjoyed the beach combing and exploring the reef. Our only recommendation would be to update the windows so that they all open on those hot nights! Stunning to be so close to the Wild beach!

Dirty and In need of Maintenance!

Finding dirty greasy used cutlery, trays, plates, mugs and frying pans in the cupboards was just the start of our stay. No batteries in remotes, no speakers for the radio, a flooding bathroom and laundry and the 2 main beds both broken to the point that we dragged the mattress to the lounge floor to try and get a decent sleep. Underneath each bed was filthy! The blinds are all very old and very hard to adjust, door latches fell off in our hands and the skirting detail is simply sitting there not attached - it was like playing a constant jigsaw puzzle!! This property is in desperate need of some TLC, the only good thing about this place was the view. Unfortunately extremely disappointed with our stay at this property!

Great location with wonderful views. terrific shower. Blinds could do with a clean or replacement but overall all you need for a break away is provided.

Great location, property was nice could have been cleaner as floor was sticky upon arrival, rooms were nice and clean however. Lights weren’t working we had to get electrician in. Overall nice property

Excellent location but the house needs some love

This house had a beautiful view and is in a great location but is in need of some updates to make it a comfortable holiday home. Many things need repairing and replacing- blinds that don’t go up/down, bunk beds that don’t have safe access to top bunk, chipped and mismatched crockery and glassware, cracked and peeling toilet seat and outdated bathroom.

Practical seaside getaway

This is a great family option. The multiple impersonal emails from the property manager were irritating and the house was not quite as glossy as the promo material but our expectations were met at a great price. The location was perfect and we were very comfortable.
