Despite the horrendous storm the island had suffered the night before we arrived, Saronis Hotel did everything in their power to accommodate us without a problem. They worked tirelessly to ensure that they were providing us with everything within their power despite power outage and flooding. It was out of their control. The venue was beautifully presented.

A home away from home

Arrive as guests, leave as friends
Publié le 14 mai 2023 sur HotelsFrom arrival to departure we were treated like guests in someone’s home. Clearly the host, Kalliope, puts a lot of effort into the guest experience. The highlight of which is breakfast, which is unquestionably the best we have ever had. This was all home made and served with love every morning. A mix of Greek dishes, a choice of main dish, fresh orange juice and coffee.
The hotel is very easy to find and a short walk from the ferry. It is a stone’s throw from the beach and an easy walk to restaurants. The town beach behind the church is sandy and has an easy access into the sea with a marked swimming area.
At the hotel there are lots of quiet areas to sit, in shade or sun, and relax in the rear garden where there is also a book swap.
