Upon arrival the hotel is not as pictured as in advertisement. The actual building appears to be under construction, parking lot is nonexistent with large potholes and nearly no lighting. With this in mind we asked to see the room first which was then confused the property manager why we would make this request. There was the smell of residual smoke with no smoking signs posted everwhere. No ice , no vending machine. If your looking for cheap and unsafe this is your place..
Our room floor needed vacuumed check in was slow, but still training on a new system
Front help very pleasant, not dressed professionally very professionally.
It took over an hour to check in because none of the rooms were clean and ready through the whole building. I didnât get get there till 8pm to check in and still wasnât ready room not cleaned toilet broke horrible experience
I gather theyâre under new management. This is no longer a Super 8 hotel despite what Expedia says. They were trying but itâs in a poor state. The toilet leaked, the shower fixtures were rotting the floor wasnât vacuumed. The beds looked to be made by a teenager.
On the bright side, the beds were comfy and the water was hot
While checking in clerk said i wasn't in system, they were in middle of some type of remodeling, they had no breakfast. Not even coffee. Not even ice. Our room had no towels. I had to find the laundry room and get my own as I couldn't find the desk clerk. The smoke alarm needed a new battery and keep beeping. I was told they didn't have any new ones or the money to replace it. We took the battery out and left it hanging with the battery left on dresser. The air conditioner was set to high cool but was warm, we slept with the window open. I asked if I could get a reduction on rate and was told " NO ". In the middle of night, I was awoken by desk clerk entering our room. Said he didn't know anybody was in there and he was the one who checked me in. I should have asked what he needed in my room in the first place. If I had anything to add it would be to RUN don't walk to the next hotel this place might be under some repairs, but nobody should pay for this unless there's a gun to your head. Very poor service and nobody I found seemed to really care at all. Again your better off sleeping in the car.
This place really shouldnât be open. I think it just changed ownership and things are a mess - literally and figuratively. To be a decent place it needs MAJOR cosmetic upgrades. The carpet has to be 30 or more years old and there is a very musty scent. The white towels were so discolored I opted not to shower. Iâm pretty sure my room had been cleaned but they entirely skipped the floors. There was a dead bug and other debris on the floor in the bathroom and the carpet clearly had not been vacuumed. Oh and there was absolutely not free breakfast, although the local places across the parking lot was cheap and decent.
All the surfaces were crumby and sticky like they havenât been cleaned since the last people. There was toothpaste on the bathroom mirror, we had less than a half roll of toilet paper. Then the fire alarm went off for a half hour and the host said that just happens sometimes. They also told us that our cars might get broken into during the night because the Mexican cartel is after them.
