Skønt lejlighedshotel. Poolen er dog alt gor varm til at blive kølet af. Der kunne godt skrues lidt ned for opvarmningen.

Lovely family place to stay, beautiful Pool and surrounds and apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed

The apartment we booked off reviews was marketed as a luxury facility, however, this was not the case. It had all the basic amenities one would expect from a self catering apartment, so that was fine, although the property had not been well maintained. The walls were badly marked or damaged in all areas, the carpets and curtains in the bedrooms had significant staining or discolouration, and one of the airvents in the main living space was falling out of the wall. The remote supplied to control the A/C in the main living space didn't control it or any of the apartments other A/C units, so not sure why it was supplied. The tops of the fans in the rooms hadn't been cleaned in quite possibility all the years the building has been operational, displaying a disgusting, thick build up of visible dust. There was also obvious dust on the tops of door frames and some window ledges. The bathrooms were better, though the floors did have areas of mildew and the shower heads could use replacing as they sprayed water in various directions from holes that shoudn't exist. We were supposed to have a room with a king size bed in it, instead we had two single beds pushed together. Hardly an example of luxury accomodation. That said, the sheets were clean and the two mattresses were comfortable. We had the apartment inspected and the damaged noted so that we wouldn't be charged for any of it, and asked for it to be recleaned, which it was, five days after we arrived. 3/5 stars is fair.

We believe that it is unfair to link this issue with the matter of finding dust in your room, which was not as you had described in your feedback.We would also like to remind you that we offered to do extra dusting in your room on the day you arrived, but you declined the offer. Additionally, we provided our usual mid-stay service clean to ensure that the property was kept in a clean and tidy condition.Lastly, we want to clarify that the bed in your room is not two singles pushed together, as you had suggested. Property is located in very good location. We got a sea facing apartment which was very well maintained with all the amenities and ample space to accomodate 7 people. Kids loved the pool area. Nicole, the property manager was very friendly and accommodating.

We loved the closeness of the property to town/grocery store/walking routes. The apartment had all the bits and pieces that we needed for a self contained unit but I didn't appreciate having a bath towel with a rip in the middle or a yukky dusty ceiling vent in the bathroom. The managers were most helpful when required. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Airlie Beach - a beautiful part of the world. Thankyou.

Das Apartment ist sehr geräumig und wurde liebevoll eingerichtet und dekoriert. Es liegt sehr schön auf einem Hang, hat eine riesige Terrasse.

Hi Maria, This is a supprise review as you smiling as you told me you loved the place on the way out the door with your 2 children. I understand you didnt like the fact that the pool was being renovated however we notified you about this as well as your agent. You said your agent didnt tell you about this. Rented a 3 bedroom apartment. A number of rooms locked so didn’t have access to them. It was quite cold and although they said extra linen was provided there was none. We needed an extra blanket at least. Cupboards all locked. Nosy people above.

Our rooms are conveniently on locked down, so people who want one bed can still book. If we mistakenly locked yours down and you needed three rooms, we would easily have come and unlocked them.
