Four spacious, well appointed self-contained Lodges with self-catering facilities. Set in a beautiful garden - two acres of flowers, plants and trees near Tautu Village. A ten minute drive takes you to the centre of Arutanga, the Post Office, harbour, fishing club, market place and beach.

Each Lodge is beautifully decorated with locally Tie Dyed curtains and bed spreads. Well equipped with refrigerator, stove, toaster, and cooking utensils. All lodges fully screened, have fans, full cooking facilities, hot water and refrigerator.

Each Lodge will accomodate 4 Adults, or 3 Adults and two children in a family group of 5.

One double bed and one single bed down stairs and two single beds in the loft. The Lodges are serviced daily except Sunday.

We have found over the years that our lodges are especially enjoyed by visitors from Europe who enjoy the peace afforded by the quiet inland location away from busy roads and noise, yet they are located only a short distance from the main centre of Arutanga . Visitors get a sense of being in a tropical environment, surrounded by gardens and trees. Our small property is very different from a resort hotel, and is popular with professional people who wish to experience a private quiet holiday. Past visitors include many doctors, and university based academics. Each lodge is stand alone and provides the privacy that many people seek. We have very affordable rates so we provide good quality accommodation at great value for money. Families also enjoy our property, as a lodge can accommodate mother, father and three children. There are some nice walks within a short distance, and guests can spend many happy hours exploring the countryside . Being in a central location on the main island means that it is not very far to go anywhere. Many guests hire a motor scooter - some like to rent a bicycle, and some like to walk. Being self contained with a small kitchen is a bonus, as guests are able to prepare and cook their own meals
