Convenient, but poor value in the end

This is a convenient place for a family but as a solo traveller I found the value isn't as good as a hotel for this price. They were accommodating with late self check in. However, it wasn't quite clean (pasta on the floor, long hair in the bath, hairs on the sheets, etc...), the WiFi wasn't working, nor the heating (it seems they're enforcing a temperature cap that no amount of tweaking the settings will override, so if you're cold for whatever reason you can warm up the room even temporarily. When I last stayed here a few years ago it was much better.

Lovely location, in need of a little updating.

We had a lovely time. When we first arrived we were really disappointed with our apartment, the balcony was not a balcony! We were on the ground floor - no problem there - but there was a concrete wall instead of balcony balustrade, it was about 5 foot high with only a slither of light coming over, you could just about peer over if you stood on tip toe… I’ve never seen anything like it! However, having said this and to be fair, I went straight to reception and the very lovely receptionist called Nancy (thank you Nancy!) arranged for us to change apartments the following day. The apartment we moved to was perfect and we proceeded to have a very enjoyable stay. The apartments and complex are generally in need of some cosmetic updating and refreshing but they are adequately equipped. There is no air-con but fans are provided in each room. The location is exceptional, close to the beautiful lake and the small selection of excellent bars and restaurants along the front. The public pool is wonderful and just next door. Overall we were very happy with our stay once we moved apartments. Nancy was also very helpful assisting us with the laundry room.

J ai réservé une chambre chez vous il y a plusieurs mois par l intermédiaire d hôtel.com une chambre du 20 au 27 juin, J ai pris l option vue lac afin de profiter pleinement de mon séjour. A mon arrivée,  j ai eu la mauvaise surprise de voir la vue sur un immeuble (voir photo). J ai payé un Supplément pour voir le lac et j ai la vue sur un immeuble.  Je trouve cela désolant et c est de la tromperie sur la qualité.  J attends une réponse de votre part avant d émettre un avis sur le site hotel.com.   Copie du message adressé à la réception Chambre vétuste, pare douche sur baignoire absent car cassé. Plinthe explosé.

So ein dreckiges Apartment!!! Der Boden war weder gefegt noch gewischt. Große Spinnweben an der Decke. In der microwelle waren noch Reste vom Vorgänger, eben so in der Kaffeemaschine. In der Dusche hängte die Dichtung so in den Raum, dass man hängen blieb. Frühstück hatten wir aus hygienischen Bedenken verfallen lassen. Nicht zu empfehlen!!! Parkhaus sehr eng Balkon u Scheiben sehr dreckig und schon ewig nicht mehr gepflegt. Matratzen durchgelegen u nen muffig im Zimmer.

Assez décevant . Chambre tres basique . La vue lac se réduit à quelques centilètres . Terrasse en plein soleil , sans parasol ou toile . Cuisine super basique . Rien pour la "bienvenue" : ni capsules Nespresso , ni thé ni sucre.... Style caserne : évacuer ses poubelles avant le départ...heureusement on ne doit pas défaire les lits . Rapport qualité prix décevant. Occultation de la chambre médiocre . Points positifs : calme , proche lac , parking ( certes payant ) couvert. Salle de bain OK . WiFi OK. Je n'irai plus .

Mon séjour s'est bien déroulé, la chambre était très bien, le personnel était très sympathique et très à l'écoute. Seul petit bémol le nettoyage de la chambre aurait pu être meilleur concernant la propreté du sol, autrement les sanitaires les WC était très propres.
