It’s pretty… but they can do a lot better yeah

We stayed here on our wedding night, came in all dressed up and staff looked at us like we were crazy when we had obviously just got married. I just expected better customer service from the cost of the location. Overall, the beds were comfortable, and the rooms were clean. The atmosphere is fine, but they should be more welcoming to everyone no matter their age race gender whatever… also I had called multiple times on the phone to ask if they offered any honeymoon packages or anything of that nature that acted as if I was an inconvenience and told me that I could just look online to see that. Sadly, I couldn’t find any of those options online so I just booked a basic room the attitude that I received on the phone was nearly enough to make me not book there at all, but there weren’t many options in the area, especially for such a special night… I don’t believe we will ever stay there again, considering how we were treated and made to feel very unwanted and unwelcome.

Like a return to a prior period of understated elegance and good manners. Friendly staff, easy parking, quick check in and out. Very, very reasonable price. This is like a small European hotel. If you want to help small towns and locals; then stay at this property where the owners are invested in the community. I plan to return again and use it as a base to explore the area.

Customer service was not good. Upon arrival and checking in I was given a room that was not cleaned. Arrived and the room was wide open and the bedding on the floor, just appeared to be in the start of housekeeping despite no housekeeper in sight. The tub filled up while showering and left scum when it drained. This hotel was not up to my standards, I left early.

The hotel building and architecture is awesome to observe and interact. The main public spaces are inviting to interact and observe. Our room was spacious and comfortable. However the bathroom was not as clean as we expected. The floor was dirty in places. Overall we would however stay there again. Probably the best place to stay in Americus.

Everyone was efficient except for waitress in the upscale retaurant. Very very long delays between every step. Ex: requesteda drink refill and she proceedes to an empty table to straighten the setting. Had to ask a second time and asked if we could have it "now". Note - only two other occupied table. Absoutely unacceptable service. Otherwise it was a great visit
