We were beyond disappointed. The property was questionable upon arrival. There’s an empty overgrown pool right beside the rental. Stairs at entrance were scary, especially the railing. There was furniture that was stained and in disrepair. The toilet wasn’t clean. One of the sink faucets was broken. The shower dripped. Only one out of six lightbulbs worked in the bathroom. There was less than 1/4 roll of toilet paper. The lock on the outside door is something you’d expect on an out building. We asked for toilet paper, lightbulbs, a toilet brush that wasn’t stuck in the holder, some comet and hand soap to replace the empty dispenser. We got none of it. We had planned to stay two nights but simply couldn’t tough it out. We informed Victoria of the situation. Her response was “You aren’t coming back”. Not sure if she was asking or telling. We requested a refund for the second night based on the misrepresentation of the property on VRBO. We have yet to hear whether she’s going to do the right thing or not. It was BAD.

The room was nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. The location was behind another house so better information about where to go would be very helpful. Although the ad mentions smoking, the room smelled heavily of smoke. This location is not for the non-smoker.
