Cozy family-friendly holiday home with many extras

This country house has recently been completely renovated. This enhancement was done with respect for the authenticity of the building and the region, but with the luxury and comfort of today.

All the rooms of the house are on the ground floor. Direct daylight enters all areas and practically every room has access to a terrace. There are several large terraces, both north and south oriented.

Kitchen: Completely renovated: equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave (combi oven), American fridge, stove with oven, all kinds of small electrical appliances. The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary eating and cooking utensils. The kitchen gives access to the north terrace and is connected to the living room.

Living room and dining room: Very spacious living room (TV) and dining room. This is equipped with a dining table with six chairs and has various cupboards. The TV room is equipped with a flat screen and modern stereo installation + a very comfortable leather couch. There is also a casette fireplace here. Two large windows and a door give access to the south terrace. From the salon you have a view of the ocean.

Bedroom 1, master bedroom: Here there is a very spacious bedroom with a double bed (box-spring) + casette fireplace + wardrobe. In this room there is a spacious bathroom with toilet, sink and two showers (walk-in). View on the north terrace.

Bedroom 2: Spacious bedroom with a double bed (box-spring) + wardrobe, overlooking the south terrace with its own bathroom and TV.

Bedroom 3: Spacious bedroom with a double bed (box-spring) and extra single bed + wardrobe with a view of the south terrace and passage to the north terrace. With private bathroom and TV.

Extra assets for Villa Maya: Villa Maya is a beautiful house for taking a holiday, with outdoor kitchen, BBQ, infinity pool, trampoline, petanque area, and beautiful panoramic views of both the ocean and the beautiful hinterland. Each bedroom now also has its own bathroom and TV.

Oasis of well-being

Very quiet, beautiful and extremely tasteful furnished house with spacious, well-kept outdoor facilities and a pool, which fortunately was even anout 2 metres deep in places. We felt very comfortable with our teenage children.

Just go!! You'll feel like a star

An infinity pool with views down to the coast, lovely comfortable bedrooms and more lounging areas than you'll get to in a week. This is a gem. Great communication from Tom in the lead up and a friendly welcome from Annabel the housekeeper. My two teenage kids said 'wow' as they entered every room and first saw the pool; that's high praise indeed.

Space, space, space!

The building is fantastic for 2 to 4 persons. For more a 3rd toilette would be needed. The garden is overwelming and beautiful maintained and would easily host parties for 40 guests.You will need a car, ideally a SUV, as it is a bit remote and the last few 100 meters are gravel. But then you have all the quiteness you could wish. Only you, the birds the pool and the sea in the distance. For us it was perfect!

Get away from it all in the Algarve

Well appointed property particularly the kitchen which seemed to have two or three of everything. The outside areas had tables and chairs in various areas where you could follow the sun,or shade all day.However the star attraction of this villa has to be the views .To eventhe front of the property is a view down the valley to Faro,clear during the day but at night a most wonderful sight of Faro lit up.To the back of the property ,magnificent views of sunsets over the mountains and villages lit up. The gardens to the villa are extensive and very colourful however the only slightly negative note to the whole stay would be the unevenness of the drive,todlers would struggle to walk across

Magnifique

Nous avons eu le plaisir de passer quinze jours de vacances dans la Villa Maya. Nous avions envisagé il y a deux ans de revenir, c'est ce que nous avons fait ! Nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances. La villa est conforme aux photos, voire mieux. Ce que les photos ne montrent pas, c'est le calme, juste interrompu par le chant des oiseaux et la brise dans les palmiers. En un mot, la villa est superbe havre de paix.

Wir hatten als Familie einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dem wirklich außergewöhnlich schönen Haus. Drinnen wie draußen fehlte es an nichts, alles ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und die Außenanlagen inklusive Pool haben wir sehr genossen. Unsere Kinder haben zahlreiche Stunden in den Hängematten im Garten (und natürlich Pool) verbracht. Wir können das Haus und Tom als Vermieter nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Lovely property great views landscaped gardens

We stayed at the property for a week in October with another couple. In terms of quality and location the property was perfect. A short drive from restaurants and supermarket The house had Beautiful spaces inside and out. Lovely views and good pool and outside facilities , we made use of both bbq and boule court. Highly recommended. Our only slightly negative comment is that basics such as dishwasher tablets /toilet rolls etc we’re not getting included and had to be purchased whilst have been left by previous guests. Contact with Tom was great and we really appreciated flexibility with checking in and out. Unfortunately we had a wet week so I would definitely revisit and hope for better weather to properly enjoy the house and all it has to offer..

Das Haus ist wunderbar ruhig gelegen was uns sehr wichtig war. Die Sicht ist sehr schön, sowohl zum Meer als auch zum Tal. Die Einrichtung der Küche war außergewöhnlich gut. Alles in allem ein sehr erholsamer Aufenthalt.

What an amazing Villa - even better than the pictures shows! We (family with two teenagers) have had a wonderful stay for two weeks in August. Everything is just perfect: the house is in optimal condition, well equiped (everything exists minimum twice) and very elegant. A magnificient pool and about 9 (!) groups of deckchairs and sittingchairs all over the spacious and well-tended estate. But the most breathtaking are the wonderful views: down to Faro and Ria Formosa or into the hills of Sao Bras. We enjoyed our stay every minute and hopefully will return

Peaceful, beautiful location & home

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Maya. We had some hiccups with the pool heating but it got sorted and then we were really able to fully enjoy the property. Tom was very responsive and helpful with local tips as well. We would happily stay here again.

Fantastisch huis !

Villa Maya is een heerlijk vakantiehuis. De villa is prachtig gelegen op een berg met uitzicht op Faro en in de verte de zee. Er is volledige privacy, een heerlijk zwembad en een grote tuin met jeu de boule baan een een zandbak, een buitenkeuken en zelfs een jaccouzi. Het huis zelf is van alle gemakken voorzien. Het is echt te merken dat het een huis van mensen zelf is en niet alleen ingericht als vakantie huis. De keuken is beter uitgerust met apparatuur dan we ooit hebben meegemaakt. Alles is er; in veelvoud. Aankomst en eventuele problemen worden prima geregeld door Anabel. Enige lastige is hooguit dat zij geen Engels spreekt ( wel Duits). Vanuit het huis ben je in 8 minuten in sao bras de aportel waar drie grote supermarkten zijn. Loule is ongeveer een kwartier rijden. Hier is een overdekte markthal en nog een gigantische Continente. Het strand is ongeveer 35 minuten rijden. Er zijn vele restaurants in de buurt maar de villa is zo heerlijk dat we vooral thuis gebarbecued hebben. Voor ons gezin ( met 3 pubers) was het een ideaal vakantiehuis op een ideale plek. We hebben zeker het voornemen nog een keer terug te komen.
