Location just right!
Posted Jul. 8, 2023 on HomeAwayThe home is as pictured, short walk to stairs leading to beach or to the small town. Everything you need is in the home, and in town although if you are staying for awhile, we stayed for 4 weeks, you will want to have a car to explore. Restaurants are exceptional in town and beach is fabulous. An extra bonus was weekly cleaning including a change of sheets and towels- Dona Cristina was also helpful with questions and when I couldn’t figure out how to use the washing machine. We had friends and family visit and they were equally impressed with this jem of a beach location. Stay here, you will appreciate the comfort of the home.

End of Summer break September 2019
Posted Oct. 3, 2019 on HomeAwayMy husband and I spent 12 days at Salema in this beautiful seaside property. A short walk from the village centre for restaurants, bars etc. The beach is 5 minutes at a slow amble! The house is very comfortable, everything in it you would need. It is very pleasant to sit in the courtyard in the late afternoon with a cool beer or glass of wine and watch the sun disappearing over the tree at the back.
The lovely Mrs Celia is on hand to meet and greet and sort out laundry changes, any problems (although we had none).
We love the area and would stay here in this property again, it was a delight!

Great location
Posted Sep. 15, 2019 on HomeAwayReally wonderful modern house with lots of room and outdoor space. Walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The only downside is the WiFi is not reliable.

Thank you for your so nice comments. In relation to wifi you are correct but is something that I can’t improve until the area will be cover by cable lines.
The operators say that maybe next year they will be beginning to install cable on the area and only after I can solve that situation.

Everything good

Regarding the Wi Fi you are right. Some days doesn’t work well. Unfortunately, on the village they still don’t have cable installed, so the only chance to have Wi fi internet is through a Wi fi router. The problem is that the signal is poor on the area and in some days (depending from where is the wind) is even worst and almost doesn’t work.
They say that next year they will begin to put cable on the village. I hope so 😊.

It's paradise

Perfect stay!
Posted Aug. 27, 2018 on HomeAwayLovely house, very clean. Indeed well equipped kitchen. The location was also perfect, around 300 meters to the beach. The owner was very helpful. Many thanks also to Mrs Célia. We had very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

Very nice property in fine location
Posted Aug. 1, 2017 on HomeAwayGreat house for the family to stay in; couldn't fault it. Location was ideal just a few minutes walk to the beach. Salema is a relatively quiet, family resort with a good selection of places to eat. Splendid beach. Thanks Joao for the information you sent to us about the area; we visited some of the recommended beaches.
