Clean rooms with a beautiful view of Lake Michigan! Close to Algoma restaurant winery and brewery. The towels and pillows could use an upgrade. Oh my God

A rustic vibe throughout located directly on the shores of Lake Michigan with direct access to the beach featuring fire pits and picnic tables. Outstanding view, quiet and quaint gives a feeling of seclusion even though you are within easy walking distance to the vibrant downtown.

Decent place. Beach was unkept, chairs were weather and in poor overall condition. They did accommodate an early check in which was greatly appreciated. 2 lights in the bathroom were burned out, and the bath towels were paper thin. That being said, loved the location and will be back again.

The only thing going for this place was the location. It was right on the beach and the view from the Nautical Queen room was gorgeous. The owners definitely cut corners where ever possible in the room. It could use a deep clean and touch ups. We're pretty sure the bed was broken. The toilet seat was flaking and the sink and shower drains were clogged. The bathroom door couldn't shut all of the way. The continental breakfast was just coffee and prepackaged muffins and honey buns and instant oatmeal.

The room had a balcony right on the shore. Fell asleep with the windows open to the sound of the waves. Glorious. There was also a nice beach. Wish we would have been able to stay longer to enjoy that as well

The view and location are perfect. Having said that the condition of the motel is pretty rough. Beds past their prime and overall age of the units is its biggest issue. Like I said location location location, and watching the sun rise over the water from your balcony is awesome. The town is far from Door County but it’s way less crazy so feels like a small town.

Plan on a nice bonfire when you go. Bring beach chairs and hotdogs for a nice night on the lake. The view is spectacular! There are no microwaves in the rooms so plan around that if you have kids.

The only thing this place has going for it is location. Great view of the beach and sunrise but It could be so much nicer with a little bit of upkeep. The back decks and chairs are filthy. Just power washing them would make a huge difference. Most everything inside is beat up, old and non matching including the windows and woodwork. The bed is hard, and the pillows are flat. It has to be depressing for the cleaning people to clean the rooms, but they do a good job with what they have to work with.

We liked being right on Lake Michigan. Beautiful sunrises! But the deck was drab, plastic chairs stained, metal clutter and a lot of weeds in sand between property and beach. The room and bathroom was clean but light missing over sink, missing towel rack and shabby paint job over tile. Coffee was weak and pre wrapped muffins and cinnamon rolls unimpressive. Staff was nice.
