Although the weather wasn’t ideal, we still enjoyed every moment thanks to the cozy atmosphere of the house and the breathtaking scenery. Juan and Carmen were incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any questions, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

The house was beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was helpful and thoughtful. The pool was amazing, loved the salt water and natural environment. The villa is modern style and super well maintained on huge plot. You find there everything: oranges, lemons, avocados, olivas, dogs, frogs, sheep, chickens, horse and even nice turkey. All those animals are well separated from the villa and its garden and pool area. Juan (the owner) is great and very supportive guy fulfilling all wishes you might have..... We´ve loved it there.

Villa el Tejar is an amazing place

Villa el Tejar is an amazing place. The architecture of the house is great! It was extremely clean and nicely furnitured and decorated. Especially the outdoor area with the natural pool and an amazing view is incredible. All is very well done and in a great shape. Juan is really taking care of it with a lot of passion and love for this home. It really feels home right from the beginning. The villa is located a bit outside of the village so that it is very quiet. We enjoyed the fitness room and the outdoor barbecue place a lot. Vacation with kids was just awesome!

Lovely villa in a Beautiful location! Kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Fresh picked fruit. Very clean, pool was clean. Lovely area with dogs which my daughter loved! Host was great. Something to be aware of- dogs are kennels up in the grounds which were quiet all day and no trouble however they did bark all night long. But other than that it was a perfect stay. We will be back

Wonderful Holliday at la Tejar

The pool and garden, the view, the beautiful house with natural light. The personal attention by Juan and the fresh eggs from the chickens. Also lots of toys for my little girl to play with. Some small maintenance issues with plumbing in the shower. Refrigerator made a loud whistling noise when compressor was running.

A Gem in Alhaurin el Grande

This stay was a real pleasure and we really wanted to stay. From the first minute as Juan and Carmen welcomed us we felt at home. The house was well prepared and very clean. Also during our stay both were very quick and helpful with tips around the town and in General about the region. The house is situated in a quiet area and from all over the house and the garden you can enjoy the view into the mountains. Nevertheless day trips into the region and beyond are no problem from that point. There are several terraces to enjoy the sun or the shade (as you desire) and the pool is a pleasure for everyone. So you really only need this place for your holiday to feel relaxed afterwards. We will be returning

We have just returned from a stay in Alhaurin and all wish we could still be out there

We have just returned from a stay in Alhaurin and all wish we could still be out there. The villa was everything we had hoped for and more. Juan is a fantastic host and you can tell he takes great pride in his villa and uses it at times in the year for his own family, because it is kept with love and care and is by far the best stocked villa we have ever stayed in. From toilet roll to cutlery, pots and pans to lilos for the pool and games for the kids, a great selection of snacks and drinks in the fridge when we arrived to cupboards full of all the necessities you require when staying in a villa and would otherwise spend a fortune on (bin bags, foil, Tupperware, washing powders, dishwashing liquids etc). The villa was very quickly like a home from home. The villa itself is really comfortable and has some beautiful features such as high ceilings and a picture window that allows you to sit on the sofa (if it’s chilly outside) and watch the sunsetjust gaze out at the view of the hills which are absolutely spectacular. And the outdoor space is great, with a really good size lawn which our boys loved to crawl and run around on, fruit trees which are full of apples, lemons and a Avocados which you are allowed to pick, waterbeds to the side filled with reeds and lots of little frog ties, and a wonderful natural pool which I had never experienced before but came away really loving. The only difference to a normal pool is that it is naturally filtered which means it feels like a cross between swimming in a pool and a clear lagoon. We loved it! The villa is on the edge of Alhaurin el Grande, which is walking distance away, though we always tended to take the 5min drive in if we wanted to pop to town. It’s a short 20min drive from attractions such as the Bioparc zoo which is great for kids, and only a 35/40min drive into Marbella/Puerto Banus. But it is fairly secluded which means it is very peaceful and you feel like you can totally relax with no one looking over your shoulder. Overall we loved our stay and would very happily stay here again with our family.

Super séjour à Alhaurin El Grande.Nous somme arrivés de nuit depuis l’aéroport, et nous avons été très bien accueillis. Les propriétaires avaient laissé quelques attentions pour notre arrivée : œufs frais du poulailler, rafraîchissements multiples dans le frigo, soda bière et cava.La maison était très propre et très agréable.Une super cuisine avec beaucoup d’équipements pour se faire de bons repas, sans parler de l’espace barbecue (à charbon) très agréable dans le jardin pour cuisiner en extérieur.Le point fort de la maison est sans aucun doute son extérieur. Le jardin est magnifique, une pelouse impeccable et la piscine naturelle incroyable avec cette vue !Le terrain arbore de multiples arbres fruitiers : citronnier, oranger, avocatier, olivier … on s’y sent bien.Enfin vous aurez accès à la forêt et la montagne par l’arrière de la priorité.Bien placé pour aller visiter les alentour, Malaga, Ronda, et la plage à 30 minutes environ.Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour :)

El hogar perfecto para tus vacaciones

No tengo nada mal que decir. La casa está bien ubicada, ocultado de la ruta los proprietarios son personas muy amables y nos hacen sentir bien recibidos, muchas gracias ) En la casa había todo lo que necesitabamos mientras que nos gusta salir para visitar y demás, estabamos todos contentos de volver a la villa para disfrutar ! La piscina natural es maravillosa era un placer estar dentro. Enhorabuena porque habéis hecho de esta villa un lugar en el cual no se puede estar descontento.

Magnifique villa au milieu des montagnes. Tout est très fonctionnel et la piscine est incroyable. Compter 35 minutes pour rejoindre Malaga ou Marbella en voiture. Excellent séjour à 7 personnes.
