Campground near Shankar Viman Mandapam in Prayagraj
There's a restaurant on site, as well as a coffee shop/cafe. Free breakfast is served daily, and guests can also enjoy a free nightly manager's reception. WiFi is free in public spaces. Gift shops/newsstands, tour/ticket assistance, and a garden are also featured at Kumbha Kamps.
The place is not correctly located on map. It is actually 5-6 km away from triveni sangam and remote. Difficult to get transport to and fro. Better to stay in some hotel in town, where transport is not a problem.
The ambience was refreshing.Breakfast items were authentic without the "trendy vanity garnishings "and i truly appreciated the rustic flavours which were personally very nostalgic for me.Overall very memorable and liked the stay for its simplicity and spirituality.
Staff were helpful. But not grass, as in picture. Luxurious only in comparison to other accommodation at the Kumbh Mela, but way below acceptable Western standards. No hot water. Basic bedding. Bathroom not clean. Impression given of accommodation was misleading. At around ÂŁ130 per night, very very poor value.
