Fantastic comfortable hotel - Lovely, tastefully decorated rooms which were warm, cozy and spacious . The staff were fantastic and friendly and extremely informative and helpful . We enjoyed our meals in the bistro including breakfast in 3 mornings and an evening meal - the food was delicious and every attention to detail was given. We stayed in The Chapel - it was breathtaking! Incredibly high standard of finishes, decor and furnishings. Modern and luxurious within the historic frame of the building and it's facinating history. Staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. We'd have no hesitation staying again and highly recommend The Cookie Jar if you're looking for a memorable overnight accommodation experience anywhere near Alnwick.
