We had a king room on the ground floor, bed was clean and comfortable, enjoyed the bath, nice and clean. Breakfast was literally a muffin, real orange juice box and coffee upon request, which was fine.

railroad city stay

great location on bus line. staff very accommodating and friendly. breakfast a bit of a let down no controls for AC so it was either on (ice cold) or off (too warm). or leave window open with AC on, which is what I did. wasteful.

It was a place to stay for the night which is what I needed but I would not stay here again. Only the front entrance to the hotel works, all other doors were broken. Property was not well maintained at all. Also even though I confirmed with the clerk that they would serve breakfast, as he said “at 6am sharp” I checked at 6:30, 7:15 and 7:45 and not so much as a pot of fresh coffee was available. One of the reasons why I booked here is because they included breakfast and I wanted to get an early start on my day. I don’t like being lied to, if you’re not going to serve breakfast just tell your guests that you are not. Don’t use it as selling point to book rooms. Many many other options in this area that are far better at this price point. I would not recommend this hotel.

The smoke alarm went off twice and we had to leave our room. I did the online check in process and then I had to go through the process all over again. This hotel is unique I had to present my husbands ID also. At 11:00 promptly we got a call that we 11:00 is check out time. They forget the times smoke alarm went off. The breakfast was a banana nut muffin and orange juice. That has changed since our last visit. This is our 4th or 5th stay at this hotel. We stay there because it is so close to PNG Field aka Altoona Curve park. I think it will be our last visit.

I stayed here just passing through to break up my travel. I stayed here twice, on my way up to my destination and on my way back home. I stayed in a different room each time . Both room's bathrooms were not clean. There were pubic hairs on the sink and the toilets weren't clean. When I stepped into the shower in the second room the tub's floor was very slippery. Maybe it's fine for a place to stop at for sleep only if you can get a discounted price. Otherwise I could not recommend it based on cleanliness.

My concerns about the attitude of the front desk clerk upon checking in were expressed both to him and to the morning desk clerk. Having once had that job I definitely know how it’s supposed to be done. He talked too fast and didn’t look up from the screen. Being hearing impaired is bad enough without having some one treat you like that.

Good value for price, carpet and furniture look new. Bathroom was clean but looked worn. Arrived very late, front desk attendant was very gracious, as was morning attendant. Pictures online showed breakfast with a waffle maker, was the reason we picked this hotel, son is a waffle addict. They no longer have waffle maker, breakfast is a muffin in a bag :(.

I booked a room with the king bed and when we went inside, it had two double beds. Then when we went into the bathroom, there were dirty towels hanging up one of the double beds look like it just been slept in but we checked in late around 11 PM and we’re just tired and ready to go to sleep so we just slept and left

Our room was never cleaned once in the week we were there. We had to go find our own towels, toiletries, toilet paper, etc. We had to put our waste baskets outside the doir to be emptied. We will never stay there agsin, and will tell all our family and friends.

Check in lady was nice, room was okay, had trouble sleeping and was slow moving the next day and was literally only a few minutes late checking out. On the check out survey, I was asked what time I wanted to check out and I said 11:30 and at 11:07 i was naked trying to pack up and get ready and the lady calls from the desk and yells “CHECK OUT WAS AT 11!!” without even giving me opportunity to explain. At that point I slammed the phone because I had to desire to talk to the rude lady. I’m just a normal person trying to stay in a peaceful hotel where I’m treated like a human not a criminal.
