I was traveling over Thanksgiving week. Check-in was fast and efficient. My room appeared to be clean. When I went to wash my face for the night, I used the black washcloth. It was covered with other people’s hair. It was disgusting to pull off different hair from my face.
The next morning, i went down for breakfast at 6:30. The dining room was dark, but I sat at a small table to wait. Both the sign at the hotel and the website says breakfast starts at 6:30 am. As I waited, more guests started to come down. The lobby and dining area started to fill up with people waiting for breakfast. The lights were finally turned on just before 7:10. It was a mad rush of people trying to get breakfast. I understand that sometimes people are late or the hotel is shorthanded, but to be that late in serving breakfast is inexcusable on a holiday weekend. People are trying to eat and get on the road.
I dropped my keycard off in the Dropbox and I came back in to fill up my travel cup with ice water. The ice machine was not working, so I went to the front desk to find out where I could get some ice and water. The woman at the front desk indicated to go to the ice machine. I told her it wasn’t working and asked where I could get ice and water, she indicated any of the floors had ice machines. When I told her I had already dropped off my key, she just shrugged her shoulders and gave no assistance in getting me any ice. I left extremely frustrated and won’t stay at this hotel ever again.
