Average, cheap but not awful, overflow shower

Its a cheap hotel, you get what you pay for. Beds are good and comfy. Shower lowkey just overflowed as drian didnt work so had to use 3 towels as a mop and barrier, but apart from that shower worked 😅 Check in and out via machine kiosk was quick, good, cool

Could have been a 5 star review. Hotel overall is good and clean. Reception staff were nice and friendly. Room was ok when we checked in. We stayed several nights, the first night our room was cleaned and made up however the next night we found our room as we left it. Trash bin full, no towels, no soap,… We spoke with the front desk but seemed everyone in house keeping was gone. The next day after complaining the room was cleaned we got fresh towels but dirty cups where left soap was empty…. Overall the hotels house keeping staff is terrible and pays no attention to cleaning or details. What a shame that bad housekeeping staff ruined this hotel’s review. If you can stay somewhere else do it, stay here if you don’t have anything else.

Pleasantly surprised!

I was impressed with the hotel. It was better than I was expecting. Breakfast was good and there was lots of choice. Self-check in and out was new to me, but it worked well and was very convinient. When we arrived in the room, we were missing the espresso machine we had paid extra for. A quick trip to reception got that sorted out and they brought the machine to the room. Good location, a few minutes walk to the tram.

This was an amazing find and stay! Right outside the city, close to public transportation (2 tram) to get into the city. Rooms were big and we were able to store luggage which was great.

Over all we enjoyed our stay and we would certainly recommend it. One suggestion would be to put a shower curtain in the bathroom to avoid water splashing all over the bathroom floor.

Only downside was the very soft mattresses and odd square shaped pillows. Location is about 30 minutes by tram (an 8 minute walk from the hotel) to the city centre, hence much cheaper than staying in the centre but still convenient. Breakfast is quite expensive but there is a nearby cafe (near the tram stop) that serves an excellent a very good breakfast (as well as lunch and dinner).

Staff did not clean room everyday unless asked. Once staff was asked to clean the room, they asked up to help them do it. Not a convenient location to downtown Amsterdam. Bathroom shower head sprays out to the rest of the bathroom, making the floor wet. Bathroom shower body wash was not restocked. Coffee was not restocked everyday.

We had room very smelly family room and didnt feel alright at all being inside and the carpet under the aircondition was wet . We complained to reception and the lady with blond hair she kindly gave us 2 rooms much better foe the first night and we had to move to famiy room forbthe 2nd night

Staff were very helpful. The beds were a bit soft and the room was small but it was clean, and the location was transit friendly. Hotel taxes added a lot to the price.
