My wife and I stayed here one night as a stopover on a two-day road trip. We wanted a basic, inexpensive place. This Holiday Inn Express was much better than we expected. Our room appeared to have been recently renovated, and everything was top notch. There was a surprisingly good Mexican restaurant next door, and the hotel breakfast in the morning was sufficient to hold us until lunch.

I would not recommend this hotel for solo travelers looking for leisure. The hotel consisted mostly of construction workers staying there which made me uncomfortable as a single female. I didn't feel unsafe but a little uncomfortable. The older lady at the front desk with tattoos on her hands wasn't very friendly. I felt somewhat unwelcomed due to her. She looked at me as if I didn't belong there. The hotel is aging. Also, even though I had the do not disturb sign on my door, housekeeping knocked at my door and hour before checkout to ask if I was leaving. That shouldn't have happened!!!! The hotel was very clean and breakfast was good but I will not stay here again.
