Golf Course and Mountain View - MINUTES from the Resort

Desert Golf and Ski is a privately owned and managed home located on the Angel Fire Golf Course, just minutes to Angel Fire Resort. With architecture that boasts a multitude of windows throughout, guests can view the golf course in the summer and the beautiful snow and wildlife in the winter. The ski resort is a 2 min drive and a tee box steps away. Spend your time skiing at Angel Fire Resort, a 2 min drive, or golfing at the Angel Fire Country Club Golf Course, steps from the house! There is also a sledding hill located at the country club, a minute's drive away. In summer the ski resort transforms into a mountain biker's paradise. A ten minute walk gives you free access to the basketball court, a pickleball and tennis court, and a playground for the kids!

With an open floor plan and natural light, this house is the perfect summer and winter get-away. A large patio off of the first level provides a place to relax in the outdoors, complete with a gas grill. The house has undergone multiple major renovations with mostly all new appliances, new flooring, new mattresses throughout. Each bedroom, the living area and the kitchen have large smart TVs.

The first floor houses a kitchen complete with all the cooking essentials, a breakfast nook with a New Mexico original hand-painted kitchenette. The kitchen opens to the dining area with a large dining table perfect for family and friends. The large living area with vaulted ceilings has a fireplace with views of the golf course. A powder bath is conveniently located off the living/dining area. The master bedroom is found on the first floor, complete with a king bed, desk, large smart TV and full bath.

The second floor has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a king bed and a twin bed with a twin trundle. High windows allow for star-gazing from your bed! A full bath is also located on the second floor as well as a play or study area, complete with a desk and a children's play table.

It is not uncommon for the deer to visit; they are our most frequent guests and will eat out of your hand! There is an attached 2 car garage for ample parking. Desert golf and ski allows you to enjoy the beautiful outdoors of New Mexico without the crowds of the resort. We are also a short drive to Red River and to Taos, both offering a multitude of activities and dining.

This home was perfect for our stay. Had most of what you would need to feel at home. Amanda was phenomenal. The home has smart TVs in every room, even the kitchen/morning room. The home is beautiful, on the golf course, with geese, deer and elk views every early morning and evening. I cooked here for my family in the nice kitchen, which had an at home feel of amenities. This home would be amazing in the winter! We plan on returning and highly recommend for others. 2 wheel motorcycle riders should know there is a steep driveway incline. We came on our HD Triglide and had no problems.

Very well located property in a beautiful area by the golf course with Angel Fire Ski Resort nearby. Modern and comprehensive amenities and room layout that provided all our large family needed in terms of comfort, living spaces, and bedroom diversity. Great place!

This house was a wonderful place to stay with lots of rooms and beds. Great location and close to ski resort. Easy to ski in the morning and leave for lunch and then head back for the afternoon to finish the day on the slopes. We loved this house and all the deer on the golf coarse!

Great spring break!

We booked this house in Angel Fire several months in advance of our planned spring break ski trip. Our family of four tries to take a fun trip every spring break and this was to be our second ski trip to the area. When we arrived at the property, the first thing that struck us was the beautiful area where the house was situated. It is right on the golf course feet from a fairway with mountains as the backdrop. The property has an attached garage, so that was extremely handy while we unloaded everything in the snow. The house interior is fabulous and tastefully decorated. Everything was well taken care of and very clean. The interior is updated and has a new feel to it. We were actually blown away by the condition of the house. The photos really do not do it justice. It is located minutes from the ski area, and we had no problem getting to and from the slopes every day. To sum our experience on this property, it truly felt like a home away from home rather than a rental property. The owners are great communicators and made sure we had a great experience. We would 100% recommend staying here. I would give this place 100 stars if I could. Our family had a great stay. We even got to witness the fabled country club deer herd that walks around, and it snowed every single day. Perfect spring break!
