Located very close to the university but farther from downtown Ann Arbor. Everything about this hotel was fine - clean, nice to have breakfast, quiet, 24hr coffee/tea/hot cocoa, etc. My only complaint was the strong cleaning fluid smell as we got into our room (not carpeted - another nice thing). We had to air it out by opening our window. But at least everything was clean!

Front desk people were excellent, and helpful. Room was great, and clean, and I really like the decor. Price was reasonable. My only issue was that the guests right above me were very loud, and seemed to party until about 3am. Noise wasn't constant. This is mostly the luck of the draw, and probably not the fault of the motel.

I had never heard of Microtel's before, but this was fantastic from a business perspective. The rooms were very clean and well done for a smaller room. I did wish for a cooler room, with cooler blankets. Couldn't get the room to cool down after lowering the temp.
