Great place

Property was great and in a perfect location. The child alarms on the doors to protect from kids going out was a bit annoying, but you got used to it. My only comment is in regard to communication with the company in advance. We were scheduled to be there around a week after Hurricane Ian, and got no information or confirmation that everything was ok. I reached out twice and got the, albeit professional, response of basically “we don’t know but enjoy your stay”. We showed up and everything was fine as Ana Maria was mostly unfazed, but we had no idea what we were travelling into.

Family stay

We surely picked the perfect house. Our group of 7 adults had plenty of space with a king bed in each of the 4 bedrooms. And each bedroom had it’s private bathroom. We utilized the separate bedroom suite across the patio. With 3 generations in our family we had plenty of room. The kitchen was well supplied with plenty of pots and dishes. The outside pool was very refreshing after the ocean. AMI was very helpful in fulfilling our requests. The concierge was difficult to get in touch with so plan ahead. Perfect location for our family with some nice little shops on Pine Street. My only suggestion would be to install a fan in pool area. Fun fun fun!!!

Would stay again, few minor inconveniences

Overall the property was as described and staying during spring break we expected to pay the $. However when I first booked the place I had a few questions, it is impossible to get anyone on the phone. Sending an email was the preferred method but was told the house had been booked and was not my reservation (it was). We checked in a couple days after the full rental time to find the house was not as clean as expected (balls of hair in the upstairs rooms) the internet was down for two days. Two main tvs were not working. By Thursday of our sat-sat reservation they had fixed the main floor tv allowing for 24hrs of use (while i understand each room has a tv we have a toddler and had to block stairs off in order to keep her on the main floor, this TV was a huge inconvenience to our group.) the outdoor tv never turned on. AMI sent out 3 techs during our stay and attempted to resolve the issues however when you pay top dollar it can be disappointing to the trip. The cleaning crew arrived at 9:30am on the day of check out and make you feel like you are late if not completely out. I received 6 emails and 4 texts about 10am check out, we were all aware we needed to be out of the house, you shouldn’t be pushed out. It should be noted i spoke to an Ami representative after the tv fix and explained all of the above, i guess the next group will have everything fixed for their full week.

Great location and house has room for all.

Nice home, when you walk in it felt clean and fresh. Every bedroom has its own bath room which is a great feature for larger groups. The back yard pool is small but it worked for our teens and the adults loved the hot tub and sitting on the back covered porch in the rain. The location was very close to shops and restaurants and the beach and pier. We were able to walk to everything in a few minutes. Wifi worked great and the kitchen was well stocked. A few things I would recommend - more pool and beach towels. We were constantly doing laundry because there was one bath towel per guest and not enough pool towels for each person. Steam mop the floor between guests, our feet were very dirty walking around the house. Lastly, just a warning don't have anything delivered to the house prior to arrival. We had a package delivered, the delivery driver took a photo of it on the porch when dropped off and it went missing. The property manager just kind of ignored my texts regarding this and the towels. All in all it was a great trip and we would stay here again.

The house is SUPER clean and centrally located on AMI. There’s 3 bedrooms & 3 1/2 baths under the main roof with a laundry room. There’s a self contained mother-in-law suite attached by a covered walkway, but it’s autonomous (that person will be locked out of the main when you go to bed!). The pool was the perfect temp, nice and warm! There are plenty of pool/beach towels and the kitchen is decently stocked. Our issues with this property may never affect anyone else
hopefully! We had issues with the pool alarms from the minute we arrived (one of them was activated with all of the doors shut upon arrival). I called the number listed, Guy answered, and instead of offering to send out a maintenance person, he reconnected me to another line within the company that no one answered. Needless to say, we figured it out after 15minutes of problem solving a broken pool alarm. The following night the fire alarm went off in the entire house. Again, I called (and also texted) the management company but this time I ASKED for them to send someone out to check the fire alarm. They said they sent a maintenance man out that walked through the house while we were gone and found nothing. I was not surprised. Seems like it’s probably a wiring issue..?? So despite the house being super clean, centrally located and well stocked, it left us all on edge and feeling frayed. When you’re spending close to 2k a night you should be able to go to bed without the fear of being woken to fire alarms, and scrambling to get your kids out of a house. When I think of the Freckled Fin I think of alarms and a less than great management service. The house itself comes as an after thought. It really is clean, beautiful & centrally located w a super pool, but I’d never go back. Hopefully others have a much better experience!

Great propery

We had a fantastic end of summer stay at the Freckled Fin. An absolutely beautiful house and amenities - would easily stay here again. Very comfortable and easy to use space - from the seating throughout and kitchen to the great pool area. AMI Locals was very responsive to a few questions we had and the logistics was a breeze. Definitely recommend this property and management company for anyone looking for a great house for a family trip to AMI.

Perfect Property!

This home was absolutely beautiful and allowed for much space for all our guests. It was just a short 5 min walk to the beaches and one street over from restaurants and shops. We had an issue with the dishwasher and the rental company was there to address it within an hour. We loved our first visit to AMI and will definitely be returning and using AMI rentals and staying at the “Freckled Fin” .

Quick Family Getaway to Escape the Midwest Cold

Property was amazing and perfect for our family of 4. The outdoor space is awesome and relaxing. The kitchen and living room space is perfect for family time to cook and hang out together. Amazing new Home in AMI

This house is exactly as described. Absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Perfect location. Just one block to Waterfront restaurant, 2 blocks to Pine Avenue and 9 minutes walk to the Sand Bar. Very quiet street. The service provided by AMI Locals is just impressive. Strongly recommend it.

Pictures do not do the property justice. It is very spacious and comfortable. Beautiful space. Location is great. To continue improvement i would suggest extra blankets in the rooms and some cleaning tools such as a dust pan and mop.

You can still smell the newness of the home. Decorated beautifully and very spacious. Outdoor area was great. Lots of covered outdoor space to take a break from the sun. Quick walk to both beach and pier(being rebuilt)

Beautiful Home! Great Location! EXACTLY as pictured!

Beautiful home within blocks of beach and two awesome restaurants (Sandbar and Waterfront). Pics are 100% accurate. Home is virtually brand new with high end finishes particularly baths and kitchens. Everything was super clean and extremely well stocked. Plenty of towels for bath as well as beach. The private guest/mother-in-law suite was perfect for those wanting a bit more privacy, but just a few feet from kitchen/family gathering area. You won't be sorry with this rental. We look forward to returning next year!

Family vacation

Great vacation home for families. AMI is a wonderful town with beautiful beaches. Property management was very helpful and responsive.
