Welcome to Shady Mango! An inviting ground-level vacation home just three blocks from the beach! With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, this rental sleeps up to six guests. You and your guests can sit back, relax, watch movies, and connect over effortless conversations in the living area. The fully equipped kitchen has ample counter space, making meal prep a breeze. Delight in your delicious island-inspired homemade and Anna Maria Island take-out at the indoor table or outside at the dining table, where you can also enjoy the island breeze. There is an electric fireplace in the house for guest use.

The primary bedroom offers a calming atmosphere perfect for catching up on much-needed sleep and has a tv for late-night entertainment. The second bedroom is perfect for another couple and has plenty of closet space for vacation attire and beach necessities. The primary bedroom has a bathroom which features a stand-alone tub. The guest bathroom has a walk-in shower.

Relax in your private huge backyard oasis, where you and your guests can make a splash in the pool, soothe your muscles in the spa, and relax on one of the many lounge chairs. There is a BBQ grill perfect for grilling locally caught seafood. Explore the beautiful beaches Anna Maria Island offers, swim in the warm turquoise waters, and feel the sugary sand cover your feet. Afterward, browse the fantastic boutiques along famous, historic Pine Ave or head to any local restaurants for delicious treats and fresh seafood! Hop on the free trolley and explore the Island! Anna Maria Island has many guided tours. Kayak or paddleboard the Bay and the calm Gulf of Mexico, where you might even encounter some wildlife!

EXTERIOR

After a long day at the beach, head back to Shady Mango and take advantage of its beautiful outdoor scape. Enjoy the outdoor shower to rinse off any sand and then take a dip in the crystal-clear private heated pool and large spa. There is a gas grill and multiple outdoor dining spots to enjoy a bite to eat in a beautiful, tropical landscape.

The pool heat is $150.00 a week. Pool heaters in private homes are locked for your safety and controls must not be tampered with as they are monitored by the pool company. 86 F is the highest heat temperature setting which might not be always reached. Please note if cold days and nights occur, water temperatures will drop and may stay cooler longer. Pool heaters will not operate and will automatically shut down if outside temperatures get too cold. While we take every precaution to ensure that pools are heated as specified, weather conditions may affect the temperature of the pool. Nothing can be done about this issue. Outdoor spas are not hot tubs and require heat at the additional cost. The temperature of a spa is typically set at the same temperature as the pool. In the event of pool equipment malfunction during your stay, Duncan Real Estate will expedite repairs as quickly as possible. It may be necessary to close swimming pools for maintenance purposes. No refund or rent adjustment will be made for circumstances beyond our control, malfunctions, or loss of use of equipment or amenities.

There are parking spaces for two cars at Shady Mango.

Please keep in mind that you are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.

Great location with a lot of potential and a really nice back patio but seems to have some deferred maintenance as well as hospitality gaps.Our first impression when we pulled up was a visual and a strong whiff of an overfilled full garbage can from weeks of trash pile up. The next day was trash pickup and after noticing our cans were not being placed in the street as the garbage truck made its way down, we ended up putting it out so we wouldn't have to smell or look at it the whole time. Other disappointments included: front overgrown with weeds, pool lights broken so no night swimming unless you wanted to do it in the pitch black, pool needs resurfacing/rough in many places, we had to hang a towel over the front door for privacy/to use the front daybed, A/C didn't work very well so nights were hot, there was no shampoo, conditioner, or a single pod of washing detergent, and the most frustrating was the master bed mattress, bedding, and pillows were the worst we have ever stayed on anywhere in our history of traveling all around the world in rentals and hotels. I think the pillows had styrofoam pellets inside of them- it was awful. Between being hot, not sleeping for a week, and having to buy all the toiletries we would not return. For 4k a week you can find better options on the island.

Awesome Bungalow in heart of Pine Avenue

Beautifully renovated 1925 bungalow on the north end of AMI on a popular street. We've rented all over the island over the past 30 years. Now that our children are adults, we wanted something in the heart of the action so they could venture out at night on foot. We could walk to shops & restaurants, walk to the beach or relax in the resort-like backyard. Loved it. Pool and spa were a pleasure. If there was any damage from Hurrican Milton, you would never have known it. Duncan Real Estate was very helpful if we had questions. Would definitely rent it in the future.

Great Location, Pool Area is Paradise

The Shady Mango was excellent overall. The pool area/backyard is a paradise. The heated pool worked well and the hot tub was nice. The house was well stocked and very clean, kitchen is small but well equipped and very usable. The location is great - walkable to the beach, with toddlers and wagons, and also to all of the shops and dining on Pine Ave. The bathrooms are a bit awkward - none of the bathroom doors lock and the layout has you walking through the bathroom to get to the pool area. Plenty of beach chairs were provided, and a wagon to help get everything to the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great Escape

This house was just what we were looking for! It is a great location where we were able to walk down the road to either coast with food and shopping options along the way. The backyard is perfect for hanging out with sun and shade - it's easy to forget you are right in the middle of the strip. The house was well supplied with everything we needed to have a wonderful trip.

Perfect Spring Break Week

We had the best week at the Shady Mango, and can’t wait to come back and stay! The backyard is amazing, beautiful pool and hot tub/spa, with great outdoor seating, and porch swing to nap on! Perfect location, easy walk to everything on AMI! Only downside, already booked for our spring break next year! Boo!

Beautiful backyard oasis in a prime location!

We loved this house and would stay here again! The backyard was beautiful, private and had everything we needed. House was well equipped with everything for a week stay. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and pier. Did have trouble keeping pool heated but there was a known leak and they were working on it.
