Gorgeous 2 bedroom apartment in East Neuk

Smugglers Loft is a cosy 2 bedroom apartment situated just 90 yards from the Fife coastal path. The accommodation, accessed via a traditional close, is over 2 levels and a spiral staircase leads to the first level with spacious living room, Bathroom and kitchen dinner. The second level comprises of 2 bedrooms, with the master bedroom having an en suite toilet and shower.
All amenities of Anstruther are on your doorstep including the world famous Anstruther Fish Bar, Bars and restaurants. St Andrews is only a short 20mins drive away. Being in the centre of a bustling town can mean noise from the road or from people leaving nearby bars at night. There is a vegan cafe and music bar next door that hosts monthly folk music and small plate events. We have double glazing but at peak season expect some noise.
Perfect for families, romantic breaks or for anyone who enjoys golf, walking, cycling, bird watching, going to the beach or just relaxing.

Great holiday house

Lovely flat, immaculately clean and everything you would need for a holiday stay. Info from owners was great including directions and places to park very near by (free). Access to property is via a door on Hight St East and then through the close to the front door. You can offload car outside and then park it nearby. The stairs inside are steep but no issue for anyone with moderate or full mobility. Would definitely stay here again.

wonderful property

we spent a lovely week in Anstruther. The property was immaculate and just as listed. Really helpful and communicative hosts. Anstruther is a lovely village with great surrounding seaside walks, restaurants and shops. We spent most of our time walking and exploring. We were also lucky to have exceptional weather. Altogether a fantastic stay, thank you.

Quirky and snug

The smugglers lofts was very cosy had a great feel to it we were fortunate to have great weather but this apartment would feel good in all weathers Perfect location for bars,restaurants, beach,fishing, fantastic coastal walks, standard of food in even the local pubs was amazing due to competition what a great holiday 😎😎👍👍

Great short break

The property was just as described and spotless. The location is good, just a short walk to the centre, harbour and small beach. The only drawback is the noise from the road which, at night, was disturbing. Traffic was noisy as vehicles speed up past the roundabout. Otherwise it was great

Lovely loft stay

We loved everything about Smugglers Loft. The location in Anstruther was perfect for day trips all over Scotland. The people in town are so very friendly & helpful. It was my husband, adult daughter & myself staying and we had no issues. Thanks to Gillian for making sure we were settled in. Would definitely come back again if we come to east Scotland. I miss Scotland already

Lovely cosy apartment in a great location to explore the area

Lovely cosy apartment. Very comfy beds and brilliant shower. Loved all the wee touches which made the apartment a home from home - the 'welcome' basket and bottle of wine were unexpected! It is in a perfect location to explore Anstruther and the rest of the East Neuk of Fife. Great communication with Gillian. Would thoroughly recommend and hope to come back some time.
