Wonderful views to a hectare of park-like gardens with mature trees to stroll at your leisure. Views of rural farmland to the sea & the Kaimai ranges. A peaceful, comfortable & secure original farmhouse, perfect for families & professionals alike.
Fully self-contained & recently refurbished it includes a complete kitchen & bathroom/Laundry facilities with spacious lounge/dining room & a large covered outdoor entertaining area. The original farmhouse features 2 bedrooms with a third bedroom accessed across a covered outdoor BBQ/patio area. Completely private & only steps away from the original farmhouse, great for couples/ teenagers or grandparents wanting a little more privacy or separation.
Central to all main centres in the Bay of Plenty, Baycroft Downs offers privacy & a place to rest for the discerning traveler.
Katikati township is known as the "Gateway to the Bay of Plenty" with its Farmers Market [Fridays], historic murals & the famous Haiku walkway.
Rotorua, Coromandel, Hamilton, Hobbiton, Cambridge, Whakatane & Ohope only a day trip away.

Beautiful immaculate tranquil grounds and spacious accommodation. Great location being handy to everything in the Bay area. Didn't realise at the time of booking that the accommodation was actually in the same shared house as the owners, and not stand alone, as this was not clear in the description. So as a family with 2 children felt it a bit hard to fully relax being conscious of owners upstairs. However they were very friendly , open and not at all bothered by the kids.

Property listing and experience

The property was well appointed with a separate bedroom off the lounge, kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom. What was not clear with the listing is that the property owners reside in the main home and rent out the "flat" which is attached. A downside to the separate bedroom was that there was no on-suite which required a "mid-night" walk outside to enter the main "flat". The accomodation was well appointed and clean. The property owners were very accommodating and friendly permitting early access prior to the allocated time. Lavish gardens to walk around beautifully maintained.

Beautiful place, like having the garden of paradise in your own backyard. We absolutely loved our stay. Its very comfortable and has everything you need. Amber made it all easy by providing linen and making up the beds for us. We had a special guest every morning. first morning Oscar the dog, then a hen and last day a beautiful cat came quite politely and friendly to greet new guests

Beautiful property in an ideal location for our needs. Minor plumbing issues - hot water was too hot even with the cylinder turned down, and the toilet needed to be flushed twice every time. But there was plenty of room for the 5 of us and everything was clean and tidy. Would definitely book this property again if the need arose. Thanks!

Stayed here for a week with my mum and 3 children under 6.

Stayed here for a week with my mum and 3 children under 6. The grounds are lovely, big and safe for our lot. They loved running around burning off steam. House was well presented. Its attached to main house but we had our own 2 separate doors as couldnt see house from property and they couldnt look n see us. Actually only time we saw the hosts was when i was walking the grounds with children n visiting chickens. Will definitely stay here again when back in Katikati
