The Neighborhood:
Being on the edge of the quiet Lawrence University campus is such a treat. Great dining, music, and historic homes make it a nightly sought after neighborhood. While the house is located on a quiet, low traffic street, it's just a short walk to downtown to put you in the middle of all the action!
Getting Around:
Uber and Lyft are available. The city bus station is downtown. Plenty of parking in the driveway if you have a vehicle.
Other Things to Note:
While we are right on the edge of the Lawrence campus (literally 3 houses away), you don't need to worry about college night life. Lawrence is a well respected, well behaved group of fine young adults who typically roll up the sidewalks around 10pm. Our street dead-end's at the bottom of the hill, so there's very little traffic going by. The neighbors are friendly, and the neighborhood inviting. You'll love it here!

Served the purpose
Cute house, but the title should read farmhouse charm, not luxury living. Inside was clean, exterior was dirty and not well kept, so we unfortunately couldn’t use the back deck. Check in was a little rocky. I missed a text from an unknown number very early in the morning and no instructions on the VRBO site so we didn’t get code until after check-in.
