The cottage is attached to their beautiful home, both are on a hillside overlooking the ocean. It was a perfect-sized one bedroom apartment for the two of us and our dog. We found it to be very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. It was only a 15 minute drive to Santa Cruz beach/boardwalk, and about 40 minutes to Monterey, very good location! Joe's place was so beautiful, I literally loved washing dishes with the view.. my daughter loved her “new home” as it had princess chairs and her bed was so comfortable!! Joe was amazing words cannot describe how kind he was.. I wasn’t there all the time due to work but I enjoyed it when I had the chance.. I highly recommend it and will definitely return ..

Joe is a great communicator and provided clear information and ideas of surrounding area. The cottage was up-to-date, organized, full amenities as described. Nice setting with outdoor patio. We were there for overnight only so did not use all the amenities provided. Cottage is quiet and very comfortable. I would return easily and overall very pleased with this booking.

We had a fun time staying here on our family vacation. Our 2 little ones fit wonderfully on the convertible couch at bedtime. And we felt the house was close to everything we wanted to see, but tucked away enough to be peaceful and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay.

This was our first Airbanb experience and it was great. Joe was a great communicator and the space was very clean and comfortable. It was stocked with more than we could need. The three of us and our dogs had a great stay. It was a really quick drive to the beach and great restaurants. Beautiful town and you can tell Joe and Melody take great pride in their home.

Good experience. It can be easy to miss the driveway on first pass but easy after that.
Only critique is small: the bathroom is connected to the bedroom with no door in between. It would be nice to have a closing door to separate those spaces, especially if people are staying on the pullout couch too
Joe was very friendly and responsive. The internet was out for a few days which made it hard to do work, but Joe made a small reimbursement to compensate.
Very clean please and easy access to Santa Cruz, Aptos, Monterey, etc and with great views from the neighborhood
