We have just returned from a 2 week break at Sunset Villa Arafo. This was our first time in the area and we thoroughly enjoyed the location as itâs almost half way between North and South making it very easy to explore the island. The villa was perfect for a party of 7, very quiet and it has a great outdoor space for catching the sun on a lazy day. The pool was perfect for cooling off and parking outside made things very manageable. Lorenzo our host was the perfect gentleman and he ensured our stay was everything we had hoped. I certainly wouldnât hesitate to book again if only for me and my partner.
A genuine review, we had a really nice stay here. The combination of rooms is perfect for a family staying together - we were able to put the kids in their own rooms with no worries as the area is completely secure and fenced. Also really private with no one overlooking at all - my husband able to walk round in his pants : )There is a CCTV camera on the pool area which always weirds me out but easily solved with a well-placed towel. There is a fab local restaurant within about a 15 minute walk, although Iâve got to say the walk is suitable only for quick footed adults only as it requires walking along an unlit road with no pavements. The rooms themselves have some questionable DIY in places, but the result is really nice, and outside has a great overhang and big table to sit in the shade. Beautiful plants and flowers too, much admired. The showers are great, the aircon is effective in all bedrooms (except maybe the kids beds on the mezzanine level, it did get hot up there). There isnât aircon in the kitchen area but fans provided. The pool was nice and clean and the kids loved it. One niggle is that the wifi didnât reach all rooms - this would be easy for the owner to fix with some extenders. 4g phone service was fine though.BBQ also fab. Check in-check out service also great as we were a bit late on both occasions (much appreciated thank you)We had a particularly nice stay here, recommended
