I thought it was great. I went with a group and they had the rooms ready even before check in. Service was always there to help, it has a great view, and the hotel is very close to Plaza de Armas, so everything was very accessible. The beds were also very comfortable! Very great stay. I am sad I forget the name of the employee who helped us out, but an employee at the front desk specifically was fantastic.

Our family stayed there before and after New Year's Day and we would never stay there again

Pour : Nice bathroom with good shower, towels and soap and a bathmat. Comfortable firm beds; clean.
Contre : There were no hooks to hang damp towels or coats; not much closet to put stuff away. Limited outlets. Our room overlooking the street was noisy.
Emplacement : Less than 2 blocks from the Plaza de Armas, where there is lots happening. Restaurants, museums and churches all within walking distance.
Nice hotel with quiet courtyard after the bustle of the street. Security gate at the entrance. Great breakfast spread, fresh juices and eggs cooked to order. Helpful front desk personnel.

Theft at Casona Terrace

Avoid ground floor level.

Pour : Breakfast was quite good for the price.
Contre : Renew ground floor rooms.
Emplacement : The location is very nice. Unfortunately there is also a nightclub nearby. You can feel the beat drumming during the night.
I stayed at the ground floor level for a few nights before moving upstairs. Ground floor rooms don't have windows, a safe or a proper shower. Avoid those at all costs. The rooms upstairs are a lot nicer.

The hotel is perfectly located one block away from Plaza de Armas. The room was small but nice and clean with all necessities. Really liked the hotel. Breakfast was okay, but I had better ones in Peru (Bread tasted old, limited choices, etc.)
