convenient next to train station, 10 minute walk into town, decent breakfast, clean large quiet room and bathroom, which offset having no elevator and the dated decor.
Unfortunately our rooms were on the roadside and we didnât really sleep due to the constant traffic noise. Breakfast was very poor quality. I would not recommend this accommodation.
Very handy for Arundel and next to train station. Short uphill walk to very pleasant Beefeater. Breakfast very good, room clean and quite large, shower good, plenty of parking. Would definitely use again.
Comfortable hotel. Good breakfast with choices. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Great location: ten minute walk into Arundel. Easy access for further afield local attractions.
Rooms 10, 11 and 12 are basically on the road bypassing the town with constant car traffic. You will find ear plugs on your night stand and you will need them.
On the positive side, the Arundel town, castle and cathedral are all in walking distance.
Staff, amenities and rooms were appropriate to the hotel rating.
This is a 2 star hotel that looks a bit tired.
Its within a very short walk of Arundel Railway station.
The car park (free) is enormous and the setting is next to a very busy road, we had the "Large" room at the front and found the constant traffic intrusive.
The bathroom had a small shower which was difficult to use, the manager had to come and apply force to get the shower running.
Breakfast was good with a good selection.
Everything about the room needs attention, very dated, clean but very basic, couldnât use wardrobe or drawers as they were up against side of bed so needs rearrangement. Breakfast basic and lacking. In the circumstances very expensive one night stay.
A good, basic, quiet hotel with everything we needed except an evening meal. It is however only a 10-minute walk into Arundel where there are numerous excellent eateries. The breakfast was extremely good with freshly cooked quality ingredients. This makes a perfect base for exploring Arundel and the surrounding area.
