Only complaint is the quality of sleep wasn’t great. The windows/doors aren’t very sound proof and the air conditioning in the room seems to loudly turn itself on throughout the night.

Nice Enough But…
Posted Aug. 13, 2023 on HotelsThe Kibo Palace is a nice enough hotel but i think overpriced. it was noisy the night I stayed thanks to a band playing poolside and there was virtually no water pressure in the shower. After weeks on safari, it was a disappointment not to enjoy a god shower.

Our first exposure was one of rudeness by the reception staff. No welcome or hello, just passports please. Apparently, she could not immediately find our booking and was “very put out”. She took our confirmation and after pointing out how much we paid for the room to another staff member, disappeared with no explanation to another room. Upon return with a disgusted attitude gave us a room key. Upon entering the room, we did not find any towels, glasses, or coffee for the morning. The rest of the staff has been wonderful, especially the bell hop and restaurant staff.
