The room and communal areas were spotlessly clean and spacious. I checked in around 8:15pm and visited the restaurant/bar. At 9pm, I returned to the room to settle in for the night. The WiFi had a terrible connection which massively affected the TV. The tv would only stay on for around 1-3 mins, and was either pixelated/a black screen or turned off altogether.
The heating device did not work so the room was freezing all night. I rang reception on three separate occasions between 9-10pm and no one answered despite me ringing for a long time . Following my visit, I was informed that three staff were supposed to be overseeing the desk. No one was on reception when I returned to my room that evening. The staff member I emailed following my visit was apologetic and explained that someone would have been able to help me had they answered the phone. Had these issues not occurred, it would have been a pleasant stay.
