This Family friendly 1st Floor apartment in this Aspen Snowmass Chalet on 3 acres is comfortable for a family of 4 or up to 3 single adults. Rates are based on season and occupancy. The Chalet is a one mile drive to free public transit but a 4x4 car is required in winter with snow/ice.

-2 twin beds (converted to King bed upon request), night stands, spacious closet, smart TV, desk

-Queen sofa sleeper, smart TV, desk. Living room is not a bedroom, the sofa sleeper is not meant to be a full time bed, only for emergencies or a few nights during stay.

Self Check in with door lock code available on your check in day. Chalet apartment has a private entrance and yard area.
You will be staying in the heart of the beautiful - and wild - mountains of Colorado. you may at times see wildlife such as: deer, elk, foxes, raccoons, chipmunks, a wide variety of birds and may even catch a glimpse of a bear depending on the time of year
The Chalet was originally built by Werner and Dory, both born and raised in Switzerland, as a vacation home until they retired in the mid 1990s
The design of the home reflects chalet mountain living that is enjoyed in the Canton of Aargau, and Lucerne where they originally came from.
Chalet 976 also features some of Doryâs oil paintings of the Swiss landscape.
The home is situated on the sunny southside of The Brush Creek Village Mountainside with expansive views of brush Creek Mountain, Hunter Creek, Woody Creek, and of course, the famed Snowmass Mountain Ski area and the top of Aspen Highlands ski area, along with Loges Peak and the side of Highlands bowl. From Chalet 976 you will enjoy a virtually panoramic view.
The chalet continues to remain in the family. Rolf, a resident of Aspen since 1976 manages the newly renovated lower level of the chalet 976.
