Pleasant Hill Retreat is a clean, comfortable, scenic two bedroom apartment/getaway; 1.5 baths, sleeps four adults and two youth very well. Children are welcome and with pet approval, a $35 per-pet fee per-night is charged. Please note that for guests beyond two there is an additional fee which VRBO may not display unless you click "View Details" below the rate total.

Just minutes to O.U., shopping and dining. A spacious living room overlooks a private lake as do two bedrooms and decks. There is a fully equipped eat-in kitchen w/coffee and the apartment wonderfully accommodates travelers, explorers and small families. While the laundry room is available to guests, it is also accessible to the owners with a lockable door ensuring privacy.

This place is a great hub for activities related to Ohio University, the micro breweries and restaurants of Athens, hiking trails, Strouds Run State Park, lakes, boat rentals, picnic areas, and the O.U. golf course. A 50 minute drive will take you into the heart of the Hocking Hills. Although the lake view is only a borrowed one, it does offer an amazing vista and wildlife abounds.
