Seaside villa with private swimming pool and fabulous view to the Aegean sea

The house is situated right at the sea front only few meters above the sea level and has access to the beach. Right in front of the house there is the large seawater swimming pool, 20x10m and 4 meters at its deepest. The swimming pool area is fitted with all necessary facilities including umbrellas, furniture, shower, changing room etc.

It is a 2 level country house of 120 sqm area, that was built in the early 20th century and fully restored to the present condition. It is has been built out of stone and wood which makes it pittoresque. It is at an isolated location perfect to relax.

In the house there are 3 bedrooms. The first and the second bedroom have a double bed each. The third bedroom has two single beds. There is even a sofa bed at the living room. There are two bathrooms one on the upper level with a bathtub and the other on the lower level with a shower. The lower level has a living room and a fully equipped kitchen (oven, refrigerators, microwave, washing machine) which leads off the dinning area.

At the upper level there is one secluded balcony with open sea view. On the other side there is one secluded patio with an outdoor barbecue. There is also a large private outdoor pergola on the house at the front with unlimited sea view and it is ideal for dinning.

The house is fitted with Satellite TV, basic furniture, linen, towels etc ready for use.
There is even tennis court at the garden.

It takes less than 15 minutes to walk to the Ancient Temple of Poseidon, in Sounio.
The house is about 40 minutes away from the center of Athens, by car and about 20 minutes away from the Athens Airport.

The Pool is Available ONLY during the periods 25th of May until 15th of October each year

Amazing location

We spent 2 weeks between end of July and August 2023, with our family my spouse and I, my son and his girlfriend and my daughter 16 yo. Before our arrival Alexandros sent all the details we needed. We were welcomed by his keeper. She was very kind even if we couldn’t exchange in English. The house is very clean and comfortable. You can find all you need for cooking. Beds are ok, note that as all this area in Greece you can’t throw the toilet paper in the toilets. The access to the house is easy with the car. You have shadow from the garden with many palm trees. The outside is the best place: you have a very large swimming pool, and a 180‱view on the sea. You can access to the sea through a door in the fence and then follow the stairs. The sea is crystal clear with many fishes, and easy to access, note that it’s not a private access but it’s never crowded. We didn’t feel the heat in this environnement. The bedrooms are equipped with air conditioner. You have many sunbeds around the pool. Wonderful holidays in a marvelous place.

Un havre de paix

Premier sĂ©jour en GrĂšce...la canicule ne nous a pas permis de visiter ce beau pays, nous sommes restĂ©s la plupart du temps dans la maison et ses 3 terrasses ombragĂ©es qui bĂ©nĂ©ficient d'une petite brise lĂ©gĂšre et bien agrĂ©able. Heureusement qu'il y avait la clim dans les chambres et des moustiquaires aux portes et fenĂȘtres. Cette maison est une perle avec sa vue incroyable sur la mer EgĂ©e, sa splendide piscine et son accĂšs facile pour une baignade Ă  la dĂ©couverte des petits poissons. Merci au propriĂ©taire et au concierge pour leur simplicitĂ©, gentillesse et discrĂ©tion. Nous souhaitons force et courage pour la reconstruction aprĂšs ces incendies ravageurs. σΔ ΔυχαρÎčστώ ÎłÎčα όλα

We spent two weeks at this beautifully positioned villa and absolutely loved it. The place was just as photographed but even better in person. Most of our time was spent around the pool which was great for swimming lengths and for mucking about and having fun. Getting down to the sea is so easy from the house and provides great opportunity to see the sea life such as Turtles and Octopus.Our hosts were kind and attentive, we really appreciated their warm welcome and hospitality.We were very impressed with the inside and outside of the house and the great views including the opportunity to see the sunrise. For our day trip to Athens it was an easy, though long, drive to Sygrou Avenue where we were able to park easily in the underground car park aligned with the metro station. Thank you to our hosts for that recommendation. The Temple of Poseidon restaurant (with views) is worth a visit even if the temple is not on the cards. We had visited the Parthenon so we were able to get close to the Temple of Poseidon but did not want to visit this time around. We also visited one of the local restaurants within walking distance and had a tasty evening meal.We had two perfect weeks of sunshine and relaxation. Would definitely stay again and completely recommend it for a restful break in a beautiful part of the world.

We would love to come back

We stayed at the property for two weeks and had a wonderful and very relaxing vacation. On our arrival we received a very warm welcome and were well looked after throughout our stay. The housekeepers, Miranda, Anton and Alexandros, were always on hand to help if we had any questions or needed assistance. The house and the surrounding area are very well maintained and well equipped, so we didn't want for anything. The kitchen is fully equipped and, with the exception of a few extra chopping boards, we didn't miss anything. We often used the outdoor barbecue area and the pizza oven. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, functionally furnished and offer a beautiful view of the sea. We spent most of our time at the exceptionally large pool and enjoyed the wonderful view of the blue water. The host was very friendly, accommodating and always easy to reach. We would love to come back.

Herausragende Unterkunft direkt am Meer

Der Aufenthalt Ende September war herausragend schön. Die Unterkunft besticht nicht nur mit der Lage sondern auch mit einem riesigen Pool (Salzwasser) und auch sonst viel Platz. Die Schlafzimmer und BÀder sind eher klein gehalten aber ausreichend und klimatisierten. Top!!

Traumhafter Riesenpool macht dem Meer Konkurrenz

Ein durchwegs angenehmer Aufenthalt. Sehr gute Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer (in Englisch), sehr herzliche Hauswarte Miranda & Anto (VerstĂ€ndigung mit HĂ€nden und FĂŒssen). Aussergewöhnlich sauber. Absolut gigantischer Pool zur Alleinbenutzung – ein Unikum, das dieses Objekt besonders macht! Warnung an Allergiker: Es ist zwar ein Salzwasserpool, weil das Wasser direkt aus dem Meer gepumpt wird, doch es wird zur Desinfektion mit (wenig) Chlor behandelt. Da der Meerzugang zeitweise von sehr vielen Leuten der Nachbaranlage benutzt wird, ist der Pool Gold wert! Das Haus ist Ă€lter, aber relativ gut im Schuss. Sehr verschachtelt, aber mit originellen Details. Die Nasszellen sind winzig, aber dafĂŒr gibt es eine riesige Aussendusche beim Pool. Einziger Abstrich: Toilettenpapier darf hier nicht ins WC geworfen werden und muss in bereitgestellten Abfalleimerchen entsorgt werden. Daran werde ich mich wohl nie gewöhnen.

The location is on the ocean with a large pool and wonderful house. The view is spectacular. The trip time to the airport was about 40 minutes, making it a great spot for the initial or final days of vacation. The owner communicates quickly, and the on-site caretaker is always there to help. There is a security gate. We'll be back.

Beautiful location

At the beginning of September we spent 10 days in this very nice cottage built of old raw stones. The house is exactly as described on the website and the pictures shown give a pretty detailed impression of its character. What we liked the most was the huge salt water pool and the large premises with its stunning sea view. There are various possibilities to sit respectively eat outside and still enjoy the shade. The kitchen is well-equipped and we were welcomed with a nice little package consisting of homemade jam, honey and cake among other things. If there was a tiny little disadvantage at all it might be the rather small size of bed- and bathrooms and the separation of the 2 bedrooms on the upper floor by just a built-in cupboard which makes both rooms a bit poorly soundproofed. Although one night we were also hit by the tail of the heavy rainfall that haunted Greece we spent amazing one and a half weeks that could hardly have been better. Thanks very much to Alexandros and his family!

Paradise!

The home looks exactly as you see in the photos. Excellent location and view. 10 minute drive to Lavrio for nice restaurants and shops. Prices at food stores and restaurants are very reasonable in this area of Greece. The owners were lovely and very easy to communicate with. The mattresses are a bit uncomfortable but we got used to them as our stay went on. Outdoor shower and bathrooms were convenient with four adults staying in the house. Kitchen has all you need for simple breakfasts and lunch. Washing machine was a nice plus. Took advantage of the incredible view and swam in the pool daily- used the steps to walk down to the sea also a few times. Had a great trip!

Amazing villa

We had a fantastic 5 days here. The view is incredible, and the outside space is really amazing. The pool is huge and lovely. Everything was clean and comfortable. There are several restaurants nearby and the supermarket is about a 10 minute drive. Very nice welcome basket of goodies. We would definitely recommend this property.

Fantastic Holiday

Wonderful villa with the great views & pool. A few minutes walk from a good taverna, not cheap but great quality. A short drive or 30 minutes walk to the Poseidon Temple. 10 minutes drive to the town of Laurium, with good supermarkets and a large selection of restaurants. Almost one and a half hour drive into the centre of Athens with busy traffic. One long day was enough for us to see the main sights, so we then stayed local. Great holiday thanks to the wonderful villa and attention from the caretakers.

Wir wohnten in einem sehr außergewöhnlichen Haus mit viel Charme, riesigem Pool und brillanter Aussicht. Über eine Treppe gelangt zum Meer mit kleinen Strand, sonst Felsen.
