Seaside villa with private swimming pool and fabulous view to the Aegean sea

The house is situated right at the sea front only few meters above the sea level and has access to the beach. Right in front of the house there is the large seawater swimming pool, 20x10m and 4 meters at its deepest. The swimming pool area is fitted with all necessary facilities including umbrellas, furniture, shower, changing room etc.

It is a 2 level country house of 120 sqm area, that was built in the early 20th century and fully restored to the present condition. It is has been built out of stone and wood which makes it pittoresque. It is at an isolated location perfect to relax.

In the house there are 3 bedrooms. The first and the second bedroom have a double bed each. The third bedroom has two single beds. There is even a sofa bed at the living room. There are two bathrooms one on the upper level with a bathtub and the other on the lower level with a shower. The lower level has a living room and a fully equipped kitchen (oven, refrigerators, microwave, washing machine) which leads off the dinning area.

At the upper level there is one secluded balcony with open sea view. On the other side there is one secluded patio with an outdoor barbecue. There is also a large private outdoor pergola on the house at the front with unlimited sea view and it is ideal for dinning.

The house is fitted with Satellite TV, basic furniture, linen, towels etc ready for use.
There is even tennis court at the garden.

It takes less than 15 minutes to walk to the Ancient Temple of Poseidon, in Sounio.
The house is about 40 minutes away from the center of Athens, by car and about 20 minutes away from the Athens Airport.

The Pool is Available ONLY during the periods 25th of May until 15th of October each year

The house was very clean and the views were stunning! We liked the quiet and non crowded location. The kids enjoyed the deep salt water pool and diving board … we were very happy the bedrooms had good AC -as it was very hot during our stay. The house is very charming. Amazing villa

We had a fantastic 5 days here. The view is incredible, and the outside space is really amazing. The pool is huge and lovely. Everything was clean and comfortable. There are several restaurants nearby and the supermarket is about a 10 minute drive. Very nice welcome basket of goodies. We would definitely recommend this property.

Beyond amazing!!!

I could have cried real tears when we had to leave. It was my favorite place we stayed in Greece. I would often stay awake at night looking out the window at the moon glistening over the water. Truly breathtaking! Everything was perfect at the house and we felt well taken care of.

Perfect Location

The location is on the ocean with a large pool and wonderful house. The view is spectacular. The trip time to the airport was about 40 minutes, making it a great spot for the initial or final days of vacation. The owner communicates quickly, and the on-site caretaker is always there to help. There is a security gate. We'll be back.

Fantastic Holiday

Wonderful villa with the great views & pool. A few minutes walk from a good taverna, not cheap but great quality. A short drive or 30 minutes walk to the Poseidon Temple. 10 minutes drive to the town of Laurium, with good supermarkets and a large selection of restaurants. Almost one and a half hour drive into the centre of Athens with busy traffic. One long day was enough for us to see the main sights, so we then stayed local. Great holiday thanks to the wonderful villa and attention from the caretakers.

We would love to come back

We stayed at the property for two weeks and had a wonderful and very relaxing vacation. On our arrival we received a very warm welcome and were well looked after throughout our stay. The housekeepers, Miranda, Anton and Alexandros, were always on hand to help if we had any questions or needed assistance. The house and the surrounding area are very well maintained and well equipped, so we didn't want for anything. The kitchen is fully equipped and, with the exception of a few extra chopping boards, we didn't miss anything. We often used the outdoor barbecue area and the pizza oven. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, functionally furnished and offer a beautiful view of the sea. We spent most of our time at the exceptionally large pool and enjoyed the wonderful view of the blue water. The host was very friendly, accommodating and always easy to reach. We would love to come back.

Great place right next to the sea

If you want to have in all peace your dinner looking at the see while you children are splashing in the huge swimming pool, this is where to go. The pool his huge, sea is 20 steps away. The house itself is properly described and pictures show the reality. It is not extremely big, but the 120 SQM is very adequate for six people. And anyhow, when the sun is shining, who wants to sit inside. Wifi works fine (in case children are not in the pool, that seems to be important as well). We had a great three days end of October and thinking when to come back.

Paradise!

The home looks exactly as you see in the photos. Excellent location and view. 10 minute drive to Lavrio for nice restaurants and shops. Prices at food stores and restaurants are very reasonable in this area of Greece. The owners were lovely and very easy to communicate with. The mattresses are a bit uncomfortable but we got used to them as our stay went on. Outdoor shower and bathrooms were convenient with four adults staying in the house. Kitchen has all you need for simple breakfasts and lunch. Washing machine was a nice plus. Took advantage of the incredible view and swam in the pool daily- used the steps to walk down to the sea also a few times. Had a great trip!

We spent two weeks at this beautifully positioned villa and absolutely loved it. The place was just as photographed but even better in person. Most of our time was spent around the pool which was great for swimming lengths and for mucking about and having fun. Getting down to the sea is so easy from the house and provides great opportunity to see the sea life such as Turtles and Octopus.Our hosts were kind and attentive, we really appreciated their warm welcome and hospitality.We were very impressed with the inside and outside of the house and the great views including the opportunity to see the sunrise. For our day trip to Athens it was an easy, though long, drive to Sygrou Avenue where we were able to park easily in the underground car park aligned with the metro station. Thank you to our hosts for that recommendation. The Temple of Poseidon restaurant (with views) is worth a visit even if the temple is not on the cards. We had visited the Parthenon so we were able to get close to the Temple of Poseidon but did not want to visit this time around. We also visited one of the local restaurants within walking distance and had a tasty evening meal.We had two perfect weeks of sunshine and relaxation. Would definitely stay again and completely recommend it for a restful break in a beautiful part of the world.

Superb villa and very enjoyable stay

The property is superb, clean and well maintained. The swimming pool is impressive and private to the house. The property is ~10 meters above the sea level with a splendid view to the sea and surroundings. The sea is accessible via stairs from the property. There is a small beach with stones [not sand], shared with the properties around. The description and the pictures on the site are describing the property with accuracy! The owners and the house keepers are very friendly and did everything they could to help. They provided relevant information about the surroundings. The attractions around are: Athens [~50 minutes drive], Sounion national park [2 minutes drive, for car or 4*4 jeep], sea/beaches around, Lavrio port and shops, open market in Lavrio periodically. I absolutely recommend the property.

Beautiful location

At the beginning of September we spent 10 days in this very nice cottage built of old raw stones. The house is exactly as described on the website and the pictures shown give a pretty detailed impression of its character. What we liked the most was the huge salt water pool and the large premises with its stunning sea view. There are various possibilities to sit respectively eat outside and still enjoy the shade. The kitchen is well-equipped and we were welcomed with a nice little package consisting of homemade jam, honey and cake among other things. If there was a tiny little disadvantage at all it might be the rather small size of bed- and bathrooms and the separation of the 2 bedrooms on the upper floor by just a built-in cupboard which makes both rooms a bit poorly soundproofed. Although one night we were also hit by the tail of the heavy rainfall that haunted Greece we spent amazing one and a half weeks that could hardly have been better. Thanks very much to Alexandros and his family!

Fantastic holiday

The initial sight of the villa and grounds along with the sea view is breathtaking. Marina and Andrios, caretakers, were there to greet us and show us around. Communication with the owner is fantastic. The villa is lovely inside, all bedrooms have air conditioning and a well equipped kitchen. Plus there is a large built in barbecue and pizza oven at the rear, which was fantastic. We spent most of our time outside. There is a large covered patio area plus a first floor balcony, both with tables and gorgeous views of the sea. The pool is huge and has it's own changing rooms and toilets, along with tables and chairs, umbrellas and sunbeds. There is a wonderful sea breeze which helps to keep you cool. When we fancied a change of scene we made our way down some steps to the sea. There is a hard standing area with sunshades and chairs with metal steps to the sea for the local houses to use. We had great fun snorkeling and swimming, plus looking up at our fantastic villa. We bought swim shoes as there are sea urchins. We had an absolutely amazing holiday, best holiday ever, we loved it. So worth the 2 year delay from covid, I can't praise it enough.

Amazing location

We spent 2 weeks between end of July and August 2023, with our family my spouse and I, my son and his girlfriend and my daughter 16 yo. Before our arrival Alexandros sent all the details we needed. We were welcomed by his keeper. She was very kind even if we couldn’t exchange in English. The house is very clean and comfortable. You can find all you need for cooking. Beds are ok, note that as all this area in Greece you can’t throw the toilet paper in the toilets. The access to the house is easy with the car. You have shadow from the garden with many palm trees. The outside is the best place: you have a very large swimming pool, and a 180•view on the sea. You can access to the sea through a door in the fence and then follow the stairs. The sea is crystal clear with many fishes, and easy to access, note that it’s not a private access but it’s never crowded. We didn’t feel the heat in this environnement. The bedrooms are equipped with air conditioner. You have many sunbeds around the pool. Wonderful holidays in a marvelous place.

Un havre de paix

Premier séjour en Grèce...la canicule ne nous a pas permis de visiter ce beau pays, nous sommes restés la plupart du temps dans la maison et ses 3 terrasses ombragées qui bénéficient d'une petite brise légère et bien agréable. Heureusement qu'il y avait la clim dans les chambres et des moustiquaires aux portes et fenêtres. Cette maison est une perle avec sa vue incroyable sur la mer Egée, sa splendide piscine et son accès facile pour une baignade à la découverte des petits poissons. Havre de paix, nous nous sommes bien repose, une vue splendide qui vous laisse imaginer... Tavernes et commerces pas tres loin quand vous en avez besoin. Maison tres agreeable et bien equipee, avec cette piscine aux dimensions peu communes. Tres bon acceuil sympathique, vous vous sentez chez vous.. nous vous conseillons cette propriete

Calme, vue imprenable, piscine eau de mer immense (20m !)....

Avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison en front de mer avec une piscine superbe. A conseiller à tous ceux qui aiment le calme, la discrétion et les vues uniques sur la mer Egée.... a seulement 35 mn de l’aéroport.

Vue fantastique mais équipements de la maison à mo

La maison extérieurement est absolument fantastique. On a une vue à 180 degrés sur la mer, la piscine est très grande et fabuleuse. Les personnes qui s'occupent de la maison sont charmants et très disponibles. Pour l'intérieur de la maison: elle est spacieuse 3 chambres nous étions 5 personnes. La cuisine est pratique et grande. Par contre il faudrait vraiment moderniser l'intérieur. Passe encore le mobilier rustique qui peut participer au charme suranné de la maison, mais tout est resté dans son jus des années 70, surtout les sanitaires qui ne sont absolument pas pratiques. Il est quasiment impossible de se doucher dans les douches pourvues d'un vieux rideau en plastique qui colle; les lavabos sont très bas, la lumière est inadaptée et la pression d'eau est insuffisante. Bref, la maison pourrait vraiment gagner en l'eclaircissant et en revoyant le mobilier et les salles de bain. Le séjour reste malgré tout inoubliable.
