We got in from Mykonos in the evening and had to leave at 3 am for an early flight the next day. The 6 hours we were there was perfection. Walked 5 minutes from the airport, had dinner, slept 4 hours, then walked 5 minutes back. There is nothing more convenient…friendly staff. 5 stars!

Hotel room did not live up to the Sofitel brand. Not even close. Small, claustrophobic, odd design, compartmentalized. Felt like I was in an airplane or padded room in an insane asylum. Super small window. I could go on. Nothing compared to the Sofitel we had just stayed at in Montreal. And $400/night!! You’ve got to be kidding me. Not even close to being worth that. On the positive side, staff were very nice and helpful.

Everything was beautiful except the mattress one of the beds was lopsided could not get a comfortable sleep for two days. I could not believe that nobody checked it housekeeping to see how badly the bed wash Need better quality control in the housekeeping to keep for not happening again

Spoil yourself on arrival or departure.

After 22 hours of flights this is the perfect place to start a holiday. We chose the Sofitel because we were arriving very late after arriving from Australia. We took advantage of the late checkout to help sleep off the jet lag. The food choices in the breakfast buffet were extensive and very delicious. The beds were the most comfortable I have encountered in years of travelling. A little pricey but worth it if you are arriving late. We also picked the hotel to stay on our very last night as we had a very early departure the next morning. Far better to simply walk out the door and up the escalator to departures than a mad rush to get to the airport.

Just a quick overnight stay at the hotel before taking an international flight out of Athens but we all wished we had had longer to enjoy the hotel. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and the linens are soft. The shower was strong, a major bonus when needing to wash that travel 'yuck' off. High marks!
