The original Hyatt Place before the renovation was a more comfortable and inviting hotel. The renovations put in very hard and uncomfortable sofas, removed the sink in the small kitchenette area, installed extremely bright lights that do not dim, and removed a comfortable desk for a small corner desk that is very small with an uncomfortable chair. The renovated rooms are also painted a steel gray, that although trendy, is not warm and inviting.

I understand the construction but i didnt understand the condition of the breakfast area ,i didnt eat there,thats for sure. The room was remodeled and was very nice .

Good job to the front desk girls!
Publié le 4 mars 2024 sur HotelsStayed for a week. They had construction going on and everyone usually throws a fit over this.. BUT,... it did not matter.... It was only first floor construction and the awesome front desk girl put me up on the 6th floor (top) Maybe I heard some faint noises here and there but nothing bothersome at all. ALL front desk staff are awesome and deserve a lot of credit for accommodating guests best they can during construction. Housekeeping is awesome, and the construction guys were very nice. Only downside is I really think they should have a microwave in room. I hope after the remolding they do not jack up prices too much because the Holiday Inn across the street is always stupid expensive and its not any nicer than the Hyatt! I always chose this Hyatt when in Smyrna.

Terrible experience and misled.
Publié le 1 mars 2024 sur HotelsConstruction and uncleanliness everywhere. Was told at check in that it was only lobby area. Several rooms on my floor were under construction. It was loud, dirty and uncomfortable. I checked in and then left and drove home late after my event rather than stay. The doors to the outside were left open at all stairwells so I felt unsafe as well. This hotel was rated 8.8. It’s not even close. Waste of time and money and felt completely misled.

Generally, it was good, and the bed was super comfortable, and the room was nice. But it said it was recently remodeled, but construction was still happening.

The room was newly renovated. It was very nice, quiet and comfortable. It holds to the Hyatt brand.

Under rehab and lobby was in disarray. However the room was spacious and had everything needed for work and personal needs.
