Nice place to stay when seeing the Braves

This is our second time staying here. If going to see the Braves this is very close, great place to stay and not awful on the wallet! The drive to the Aquarium & World of Coke isn't awful from here either.

I stayed here for three nights during All-Star Week. At check-in, I was told there would be a $50 hold—no problem. The next day, I saw the full stay, the $50 hold, and an unexpected $1150 hold taken from my account. When I asked about it, I was told it was a software error and to call my bank to fix it—completely unhelpful. I asked to speak with the manager multiple times and was told she was in meetings with no clear time of availability. After three days of trying, I finally spoke with her. Rather than apologize, she argued and asked me what I wanted them to do. I requested accommodation for the inconvenience, and she agreed to a 15% refund, which I accepted just to end the back-and-forth. On check-out, I discovered the refund was never applied. After more arguing, a front desk clerk finally applied a discount she was authorized to give, but the manager never followed through. Overall, this was a frustrating and unprofessional experience. I won’t stay here again or recommend this hotel. Oh and the hotel smelled of mildew, the bed had zero support, the shower looked like an DIY project and the water pressure was terrible. The elevator was out of service so they only had one working. Every time you walked outside you were hit with a very strong smell of weed.

Clean and cute but issues with plumbing

The air conditioner was extremely loud and noisy throughout the night and kept me awake. Also, the elevators are a month past inspection. The biggie though, is we had an issue with our toilet where it became clogged and the front desk did not have a plunger anywhere in the building apparently to offer us. My husband had to walk to the Waffle House at 12:30 am and ask to borrow theirs (which they very nicely agreed) and then walk it back over once he cleared the clog. The hotel was cute and clean and a great distance to the ballpark which was our reason for staying but those few things make me wary of possibly staying there in the future.
