Our room smelled musty or moldy. The towels smelled either dirty or heavily mildewed. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. They brought us fresh towels when requested without making an ordeal out of it when we explained why.

The room was warm, quiet, and comfortable, with adequate car parking. It is close enough to the airport to be convenient for an early flight out. The bathroom let the place down in that it needed a deep clean. There was limescale build-up on the shower head, mould in the tile grout, and no plug for the sink. There was only one staff member on duty when dining in an evening so I ended up not ordering dessert as there was no service after finishing my main course.

The hotel is conveniently close to the airport, with sufficient car parking. The room I had was quiet and the bed comfortable. However the bathroom required a deep clean with a large build-up of lime scale over the shower head, and mould in the shower grouting - which hardly reassures you that you are going to be clean coming out of the shower.

Our room was fantastic for the price! It appeared to have been recently renovated – clean, modern, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Long-term parking was available at a great rate. Due to roadworks outside the hotel, the airport transfer bus couldn’t come directly to the property. However, a wonderfully kind young staff member went above and beyond, personally driving my five-year-old and me to the nearest hotel so we could catch the bus, saving us from a 1 km walk with luggage at 3 a.m in the middle of winter. His kindness and exceptional customer service truly made a difference. I unfortunately didn’t catch his name, but I hope he knows how grateful we are and is recognised for this act of kindness. Thank you!!!!
