Summary:
A relaxed, stylish retreat just a short walk from Onetangi Beach, with sunny outdoor living, modern comfort, and a flexible mezzanine sleeping space ideal for families or two couples.
The Space:
Boathouse Onetangi sits privately among native greenery, around 450 metres from the beachfront. The home has an easy, comfortable feel, with a bright open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area that opens through large bi-fold doors to a sunny patio and courtyard. It’s a space made for simple alfresco living, breakfast outside, afternoons reading in the sun, and quiet evenings at home.
The master bedroom on the main level has a king bed and feels calm and private. Upstairs, the mezzanine provides a spacious, light-filled retreat with two distinct sleeping zones. One side has two single beds that can be made into a super king, and the other includes a single bed and day bed. A desk and bean bags create an easy spot for work or relaxing. This layout works well for families with older children or for groups needing flexibility and separation.
The private spa pool offers a warm spot to unwind at the end of the day. The home is set back from the road for privacy yet remains within walking distance of the beach, bus stops, and the nearby Four Square for easy supplies.
The location is practical and central. Onetangi’s beachfront cafés and restaurants are close by, and Ostend Village is a short drive for supermarkets and essentials. Oneroa Village, with shops, cafés, galleries, and the local cinema, is also within easy reach.
