Very nice location in CBD

The hotel itself is very modern. While you may wait for your room go to the pool, sauna and hot tub or the gym downstairs. One odd thing, no house phone to call front desk anywhere on the level. Very nice room, bed was solid and location is good. Rooftop bar overlooking harbor on 16. One pro tip, go to dinner by 8, things close early in this neighborhood.

The stay was disappointing for the price and reputation of the hotel. At night there was a lot of noise on our floor, which staff mentioned was due to flooding issues. There was wind-like gust in the hallway, and our door constantly rattled as if someone was knocking, making it hard to sleep. On top of that, the air-conditioning unit had a very bright blue LED light that stayed on all night, even when switched off, and we had to try covering it to block out the light. While the property is modern, clean, and in a good location with friendly staff, the overall experience was uncomfortable, hopefully I would have a better experience next time

From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the lobby staff (concierge and front desk). We were invited to dine for breakfast as our room was being prepared which was a wonderful experience as we had just flew in 17 hours from the US. This was such an unexpected surprise as usually hotel staff would ask you to come back during check in. Our stay was absolutely amazing. From the dining room staff at breakfast each morning to the housekeeping staff who warmly wished us good day each time we passed them. SO Auckland will be very much spoken about to everyone we know who wishes to visit New Zealand.

We had issues on our last day at the hotel as the lift broke down. None of the staff had a back up plan. No stairs which is not good encase of a fire 🔥. The breakfast was terrible. Only hot food was the omelet. Had to ask twice for a cup of tea. The room hadn't been cleaned properly as found a lighter and cigarette butt . The bath in the room was amazing. Its a wacky hotel the decor in the lobby cool. The pool and gym amazing. But not worth the stay. Better hotels in Auckland city. To choose from. I was very disappointed in my stay.

Fantastic hotel, can't fault it. Highly recommend

Excellent modern hotel with great facilities. Handy location near commercial bay restaurants/shops and the viaduct/ferry terminal. The rooms were large, comfortable, modern and clean. Rooftop bar is epic if you want a cocktail and enjoy the harbour views. Long indoor pool, jacuzzi spa, gym and even a sauna was a nice surprise. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, yet way too short

We stayed only one night and could not use all the great amenities. Dinner at the hotel was great. The room was spacious, clean, and very nicely designed. The hotel had a technical issue which could not be fixed during our stay and affected all rooms. The management however compensated us in a great and interesting way which was an amazing way to apologize for the inconvenience. Will we come back? Definitely! We still need to ise the spa, the pool, the gym, and many more amenities.

Fantastic hotel bit quirky

Fantastic hotel we booked four rooms for two couples two children and an infant and a parent. The rooms were fantastic enjoyed all the services including the pool buffet breakfast. Our only complaint was the green lights in the room are a little bit of a night.

Was a terrible experience, the valet crashed our vehicle and the manager refused to be of any help, there was no compensation or any responsibility from their behalf, he was aggressive in his handling of the situation and the staff were very unhappy. Definitely do not recommend!!
