Backs onto the Barton Springs Greenbelt system. Minutes from the Colorado river, every major trail head, visitor attraction, restaurant and shopping destination. Five minutes from all major highways criss-crossing the city. Very large backyard with 6 foot privacy fence outdoor seating, and fire pit. Egyptian cotton bed linens, and towels. Five Star Home and Neighborhood

This is our family's 2nd stay in this wonderful home. It is well furnished with all of the amenities! Also, the neighborhood is fantastic with wooded walking trails. All this and 10 minutes from Austin. This will be our 1st choice when we visit Austin again.

Absolutely beautiful house!!

I needed a house in Austin for me and my husband and 3 of my adult children to stay at for my youngest son’s wedding. I found this incredible home in Travis Country and it was a magnificent experience! My kids even said “you can tell this house was made with love’.It has all the amenities you can think of with a gourmet kitchen and beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms.Gail is a 5 star host and anyone would be blessed to stay here!

Perfect Stay!

This home was perfect for our extended family during the Thanksgiving holidays. I have never experienced such a well-equipped VRBO
.every serving piece and appliance imaginable
even a KitchenAid mixer. The linens were beautiful and the beds were comfortable. We loved the quiet, tucked away neighborhood and big backyard. The owner was a superb hostess and extremely responsive to my numerous questions. We felt as though we were guests in someone’s home. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderfully peaceful

This was one of the best experiences my family and I have had through vrbo. Gail our host was responsive and accommodating. We were in town for a wedding and the space fit 8 people perfectly. The house is set in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood, and was incredibly clean. The beds, pillows, and sheets were super comfortable and the house had every amenity you could need. Our host also labeled things for easier access. 10/10 would stay here again!

UT Graduation Weekend

My family stayed at this great rental for my daughter's graduation weekend. It is located in a great neighborhood, with a short drive to campus area. Loved the house and it had all we needed for a great weekend. The host was awesome and took great care of us. I would definitely rent again when back in the Austin area. Bird watching in the backyard's nice big trees was a huge bonus!

Amazing Hill Country house in neighborhood close to Austin

This place is amazing. Close to Austin and in the Hill Country. Wonderful, safe neighborhood with park & hiking trails! Also, this house has all of the amenities and top tier finishes with a most serene back yard. Our family enjoyed staying here during the UT Family weekend and we look forward to our next opportunity to book here again!

Gathering for a wedding

We were gathering for a large family wedding and booked multiple locations for different groups in the family. I was the father of the bride and selected this property for my wife and sons+. It was perfect. The property is well maintained and comfortable. The home is clean and the beds were all very comfortable. I grew up in S. Austin so I was familiar with Travis Country and it's location. If you are not familiar you should probably look at a map. It is completely surrounded by the Barton Creek Preserve so it takes a little bit of time to navigate to the neighborhood, but the drive is nice, because it is through the Barton Creek Greenbelt. Gail was super helpful and checked in with us via text to ensure everything was going smoothly. After we left my sons and/or their girlfriends may have left a couple of small personal items in the house and Gail offered to send them back to us, but I didn't want her to go through the trouble as they were not missed. We were all walking on cloud nine after the wedding. Thanks Gail and would recommend this property for any family get away.

Everything was excellent except a slight glitch in the dates of the stay that was quickly resolved. Any questions we had were quickly answered and the host provided coffee, snacks and other perks. I would highly recommend Gail and her home to everyone!

Great place on SW side of Austin - Quiet Neighborhood

Our family stayed here for Christmas and enjoyed ourselves. This is a pet friendly house and quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is well stocked to make all of your meals. Owner was very responsive and inviting. The house met or exceeded our expectations.
