This two bedroom, 2 1/2 bath town home is located past the pool and clubhouse in the complex. The master bedroom has a queen bed, 3/4 bath and sliding doors opening to a private balcony. The second bedroom has a double bed, bunk beds, and a full bath. Both bedrooms are upstairs. The first level offers an open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living areas with a new 46-inch flat panel TV, and another private deck off the living room. There's also a half bath on this level. **The pool is closed due to emergency repairs until the end of 2025.No smoking, please. 57SV | | Some restrictions may apply. Occupants subject to Sol Vista Homeowners Association Rules & Regulations. | | This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day). the space was as promised. The only problem was the dining room table was really dirty and sticky. The kitchen is very nice and well stocked. Catalina Island Vacation Rental, especially Wendy was great very responsive!

Do Not Rent this Unit. For this price it is awful and It is an Old ugly unit, in need of renovation and paint, smelly unit, in need of modern decor, old golf cart in need of a tune up, delay in moving when applying gas. Deferred Maintenance on the unit. Do not rent this place. The photo shows the 1 item upgrade in the granite countertop. Every thing is 25 years old at least.

Disappointed

Out dated, duty stained carpet, large body fluid stains on mattresses in both bedrooms, heat did not work, poor lighting, sliding closet door could not use for the worry of them coming off the tracks, needed interior painting throughout. We didn’t want to walk on the floors or carpet barefooted. Then after seeing the stains in the mattresses, we all felt DURTY!!! The best part of the stay was that it had a golf cart....and it worked! Would not recommend staying there!!! VERY disappointed. Poorly maintained. Pictures were taken.

Good size and the golf cart makes it a great value

This is a good size condo but what makes it great is the golf cart that comes with it. It was so convenient and a fantastic feature!! My only complaint is that it was difficult to find the condo even with GPS. I would recommend asking the property management company for specific directions and not rely on GPS. Also the property management company had the wrong address to pick up keys on the booking documents. So make sure you confirm that info.

It was a very nice home and spacious for us. Liked having a bathroom downstairs. The only down fall was that only one stove burner worked and we had to use a small BBQ grill. Having the golf cart was a huge plus.

Catalina Easter Weekend

The condo was clean and well equipped. The cart was wonderful as we had a guest who needed to be shuffled down the hill. We had a blast driving around and checking out all the sights. We did get a flat tire but the response was exceptional. We called it in and within a few minutes someone was there with another tire. My daughter and I were going to walk to the shops but the cart was fixed before we got to the end of the street. Can't beat service like that. Thank you so much.

Place needs some work

We came to Avalon for a family Spring break vacation but we were very disappointed in this rental. Let me start with the good: The bed in the MBR was great. The golf cart worked amazingly well, it makes getting around wonderful. Once we cleaned it it was great though it wasn't filled up with gas as promised. Now these are all the things we feel should be resolved: Poor directions on info sheet, the unit numbers are not in order so walking from the dock and into the complex with our luggage we searched for for 15 minutes before we called for directions. They were very helpful and guided us the rest of the way. 3 of the 6 light bulbs in the kitchen were burned out. Hot water not hot enough for a shower. Front screen door was broken and unusable. Ceiling fan was coming off the ceiling. No sponge in the kitchen. There were only two towels in the kitchen, there should be a few more. No washer and dryer (Acceptable but should be disclosed). Handle on lid for pot we used was broken off. Kitchen faucet leaked (I fixed it). Wall clock had the wrong time (This is nit picky but it made us an hour late on our first night out). Upstairs TV remote didn't work. Carpet in hallway was badly stained. Baseboards were filthy. Walls in need of repainting. No trashcan in down bathroom. Toilet paper holder in downstairs bathroom is falling of the wall. Sink in M. Bath doesn't seal to hold water. MBR door doesn't close. Stained and torn comforters in other bedroom. The closet downstairs has various cables and unneeded things on every dirty shelf. No cable box so just non-HDTV channels available (not a big deal but should be disclosed). Chairs and table outside too filthy to use. Bunk beds very wobbly, if anybody moves in either bed the other person will wake up. This is nobody's fault but this is a very noisy unit when the neighbors are home. We thought twice that somebody was coming down our stairs when it was the next door neighbor walking around. We understand that Avalon is different than most areas and we did lower our standards but this was unacceptable. Because we only spent 2 nights and not much time there during the day, we decided to deal with it instead of complaining and changing places. The town is wonderful and we still managed to have a nice time. Many of the issues could be resolved if somebody just knew. We realized that any guests that stay here would feel the same way and it could be easily avoided with a little effort and not much money.
